" I bought this book having enjoyed The Surgeon and The Apprentice. I was deeply disappointed with this novel, it felt amateurish and as though the uthiur had taken a step backwards in her writing ability. When I checked the copyright date and saw it was 1994 and published by Harlequin I began to understand why it felt so strange. This was clearly marketed in the bookshop as a new novel and it does no long term good to the author to have old works repackaged and presented as new. "

" A short and quick read, that was suspenseful from the start. However it started to die a bit at the end. It was the first book I read by Tess Gerritsen. I want to read some more of her works. "

" I love Tess Gerrisen's books and especially love her Rizzoli and Isles series. I decided I wanted to read some of her earlier works and stumbles across this on Amazon and read it on my Kindle. I liked the stories, but they just aren't as good as her more recent books. "
