A stunning new thriller from the father of Christian fiction—a grieving husband encounters a teen identical to his dead wife…in face, name, and magical skills.

Dane and Mandy Collins have been a popular magic act for close to thirty years. They plan to retire but soon devastation strikes and Mandy is killed in a fiery car wreck.

Reeling from his wife’s death, Dane reluctantly agrees to see a new magic act on the advice of a friend. Dane is transfixed by the magic he sees, illusions that even he, a seasoned professional, cannot readily explain. But more than anything, he is stunned by the nineteen-year-old magician who is in every respect identical to his wife, forty years ago. Little does he know that his wife has somehow traveled through time.

When Mandy and Dane reunite, they must decide what their future is…and uncover the conspiracy behind their meeting, the supernatural bent to Mandy’s magic, and who is following them.

Once again, Frank Peretti has crafted a riveting novel full of twists and mystery. This rich, rewarding novel depicts a love story that transcends time and space, to discover what death and life mean.

" I was very excited to read this book. Frank Peretti is an excellent author and I love how he always includes God, even in the supernatural. This book is no different and does not disappoint. Dane and Mandy Collins, a husband wife magic team are getting ready to retire. They have bought a ranch in Idaho and are on their way to start their new life when they have a car accident, landing Dane in the hospital and Mandy waking up in the present at the age of 19. In this book Peretti gives us a mixture of romance, science fiction and suspense. "

" My kind of book! A bit sci-fi, weird plot line that I understood completely from the get-go. Thoroughly enjoyed. The timeline of the story all came together at the end, which is very nice, all the loose ends came together. "

" This is a very good story, but I realized from the beginning that I could not "skim" any pages or paragraphs. Because of the nature of the story, I had to read every sentence in order to keep the events straight. I would definitely call this a love story, but it is so much more. If you do not like "magic" there is no need to read it; however, it is so interesting that I enjoyed the magician details as much as the rest of the story. I was able to "get into the story" a little faster than some other Peretti stories; however, I had to be very careful to read all of it. I skipped a couple of short paragraphs and had to go back and read them. "
