Publisher Description

The good news: Zoey's friends have her back again and Stevie Rae and the red fledglings aren't Neferet's secrets any longer. The bad news: Ancient evil with the face of an angel has been let loose – that and various other nasties (whose faces aren't so angelic). Grandma Redbird is in trouble. Heath is in trouble. The House of Night is in trouble. Okay, let's face it – Zoey's whole world is in trouble! But when the trouble comes from a being who appears to be beauty personified, will the world believe it? Especially when only a teenager and a group of misfits are the only ones who really understand the danger he brings. Will Zoey have the strength and wisdom to reveal the truth? Especially when, in the House of Night, the truth is often hard to come by…

Hunted, the fifth installment in P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast's award-winning, New York Times bestselling young adult vampyre series is sure to keep fans hooked.

Quotes

  • “If Jenna Lamia isn't a teenager, she certainly remembers being one. She channels teen angst as though it was her own life she was narrating.

" The House of Night novels are a great way escape a mondamed existense. The series is not for everyone and should be read for pleasure not for giving an analysis. Its fiction and trying to interpret whether kids are psycho, or selfish is in my opinion crude. If you like the books and they entertain you that is what is important. Haunted is the fifth book in the series. It is an intriqing book and a lot happens quickly. "

" Id love to write a review about this book, however ive read all the books so long ago-except the one that just came out- that the story line is just that, a story line. I've mixed all books together in my head nad no longer know where each one begins and ends. So Ive decided to just give them an over all good review. These books are an easy read that will keep you interested from cover to cover. "

" I thought this installment of the HoN series was okay. It didn't pull me in like the first four did, but it was good enough. But I'm just now noticing how much of a Mary Sue Zoey is. Seriously, she has all these hot guys falling over here, she has these bad ass powers. What am I supposed to think? I didn't mind it at first, but in this one it really hit me in the face. I'll be reading the rest, because I'm invested in them. I liked the mythology behind the series and it is a nice story besides Zoey overwhelming Mary Sue-ness :) "

" Again with the repetition - even to the extent of commenting each book about an entrance to the tunnels looking more difficult to open than it is. It's driving me nuts. And the constant references to the sexuality of the gay characters is starting to get on my nerves quite a bit too. "
