Welcome to the world of Ann Coulter. With her monumental bestsellers Treason, Slander, and High Crimes and Misdemeanors, Coulter has become the most recognized and talked-about conservative intellectual in years—and certainly the most controversial. Now, in How to Talk to a Liberal (If You Must), which is sure to ignite impassioned debate, she offers her most comprehensive analysis of the American political scene to date. With incisive reasoning, refreshing candor, and razor-sharp wit, she reveals just why liberals have got it so wrong. In this powerful and entertaining book, which draws on her weekly columns, Coulter ranges far and wide. No subject is off-limits, and no comment is left unsaid. After all, she writes, “Nothing too extreme can be said about liberals because it’s all true.” How to Talk to a Liberal (If You Must) offers Coulter’s unvarnished take on: •The essence of being a liberal: “The absolute conviction that there is one set of rules for you, and another, completely different set of rules for everyone else.” •John Kerry: “A reporter asked Kerry, ‘Are you for or against gay marriage?’ As usual, his answer was, ‘Yes.’ ” •Her 9/11 comments: “I am often asked if I still think we should invade their countries, kill their leaders, and convert them to Christianity. The answer is: Now more than ever!” •The state of the Democratic Party: “Teddy Kennedy crawls out of Boston Harbor with a quart of Scotch in one pocket and a pair of pantyhose in the other, and Democrats hail him as their party’s spiritual leader.” •Her philosophy for arguing with liberals: “Tough love, except I don’t love them. My ‘tough love’ approach is much like the Democrats’ ‘middle-class tax cuts’—everything but the last word.” •The “Treason Lobby”: “Want to make liberals angry? Defend the United States.” In this full-on Coulterpalooza, you’ll find the real, uncensored Ann Coulter. A special concluding chapter even includes the pieces that squeamish editors refused to publish—“what you could have read if you lived in a free country,” says Coulter. How to Talk to a Liberal (If You Must) is a stunning reminder of why Ann Coulter’s commentary has achieved must-read status. “A fluent polemicist with a gift for Menckenesque invective...and she can harness such language to subtle, syllogistic argument.”--Washington Post Book World “Ann Coulter is a trailblazer.”--Los Angeles Times Book Review “She can zing one-liners faster than Zeus can throw lightning bolts.”--Kansas City Star “You know those pundits who bore you to tears trying to balance everyone’s point of view? Coulter isn’t one.”--People “A great deal of research supports Ms. Coulter’s wisecracks.”--New York Times “The conservative movement has found its diva.”--Bill Maher “Ann Coulter is a pundit extraordinaire.”--Rush Limbaugh Also available as a Random House AudioBook and as an e-Book

"I was raised as a conservative, and now in retrospect I can see why. I personaly hate politics but because I was raised as such I can carry a strong opinon, and I can say with pride that Ann Coulter is a true patriot. I could go off on a "God bless America rampage" from here but that would make me sound callous and disconnected from reality; in the final account Ann is so funny, so informative (I know shes not perfet) and I would go as far to say that I think we could use a few more Coulter-figures out there."
— Kenneth (5 out of 5 stars)
" Ann Coulter is more nuts than Naomi WOlf. "
— Noah, 2/11/2014" I tried to read this just to see what Coulter was up to... Turned out to be just a load of BS. She actually did not make any point whatsoever!!! "
— Carlon, 2/10/2014" Basically a collection of old columns. Coulter is a very smart woman who came to the conclusion that she might be able to make some very politically incorrect points by being over-the-top outrageous. You can tell her punches are landing by how much the far left despises her, but her acerbic style occasionally goes too far for even the thoughtful conservatives that mostly agree with her. "
— Denise, 2/6/2014" Even if you don't agree with everything she says, you can't deny that she doesn't know what she's talking about. That and the woman might have just created the phrase, "not mincing words." "
— Cory, 2/2/2014" I really enjoyed this high speed read book. If you are reading or listening to ANYTHING from Ann Couler...you better buckle in and hold on....and if you are a liberal..... well, you may just implode! Ms. Coulter has a gift of sarcasm that is not only fact backed but she sugar coats NOTHING. Love her or hate her...she is a force to be reckoned with. Quick note...some may need a dictionary or thesaurus close by when reading.... "
— Ronda, 1/28/2014" What a brilliant mind, this one. Weird elbows "
— Brian, 1/10/2014" My son bought this for me as a joke-one day, out of books to read, I actually picked it up thinking it might not be a bad idea to be able to trash her and her books after having actually read one. I expected to be either seriously angry or laugh-out-loud at her outrageous lies. What I didn't expect was to be so BORED that I couldn't get past the first 20 pages or so. The woman's a one note instrument and only the most pathetically uninformed couldn't see through her lies and misrepresentations. I think her 15 minutes are over, but unfortunately, there's always a Glenn Beck to take her place... "
— Brenda, 1/10/2014" More irreverent, but funny regardless. "
— Pamela, 1/9/2014" Ann's humor is so fabulous, I can't stop laughing when I read this one. "
— Kristi, 12/25/2013" I think I peed myself laughing "
— Regina, 10/25/2013" I can't stand Ann Coulter, and I am a liberal... so not surprisingly I hated this book. She overused the phrase "sweaty arab" and other racial slurs. I listened to the audio version of this book with my husband on a trip. I wish I would have walked! "
— Jessica, 10/8/2013" She is by far one of the most Conservative women I've ever read. This was during my republican days, but she's funny at times... and sad at others. "
— Laura, 9/17/2013" Ann Coulter is delightfully mean and angry. Wrong, but magnificently so. "
— Lucy, 7/22/2013" I love this book. This woman is so right on that it is scary. "
— Kirsten, 6/28/2013" Maybe didn't strike me as good as the others, but excelllent none the less! What can I say - its Ann Coulter! She is another author that tells it like it is! "
— Donna, 6/23/2013" im "out". i like ann coulter! "
— Amelia,, 11/21/2012" Bad books "
— Debbrowns, 10/7/2012" Amazing!!!!!! Everyone has their own views and opinions and Ann Coulter just shares with us hers! "
— Ammorett, 9/6/2012" Can I give a book negative stars?! I tried to listen to this crazy chick while on a road trip, and I do not remember the last time I disliked someone so much. I had to turn it off because my blood pressure was quickly rising. "
— Tatum, 7/3/2012" A soulless harpy whose works are best fit for the fires of the underworld. Nice rack though. Pity that doesn't affect a book. "
— Mike, 4/24/2012" No, I'm sorry, I can't even read it. Too much sarcasm; not enough content. And what is she wearing? Nothing like a navy leather vest to say "bitch on wheels." "
— Ama, 3/28/2012" To keep an open mind ;-) (didn;'t work out too well for me). "
— Karina, 1/30/2012" sorry piece of horseshit "
— Andy, 9/8/2011" Funny, but only if you're a Conservative. "
— Pamelaw, 9/4/2011" Andrea's review: Wow, she really is out there. I agree with some of her points, but she is just tooo far right for me. "
— Andrea, 7/9/2011" Crazy but funny "
— Mike, 6/3/2011" I absolutely loved this book when it came out. I was in high school and incredibly right-winged at the time. I don't know that I would've enjoyed it if I'd read it more recently. "
— Mason, 5/28/2011" It's awesome nlike most people she is not afriad to speak the truth. "
— Xion, 3/11/2011" Hilarious. There's a reason people should be conservatives. "
— Sarah, 1/3/2011" She's pretty stupid, so it makes sense that her book is also stupid and poorly written. Anyone notice how she always puts herself on her book cover? Self centered? I think so. "
— Ilovebooks14, 12/27/2010" The best defense is to have a great offense. She never lets up. I don't agree with her on many topics, but instead of listening to her rant i instead was taking in different views on things i hadn't thought about before. "
— Glen, 12/3/2010" Even as a conservative, I thought it was a hard read "
— Jim, 11/12/2010" I really haven't the slightest idea what possessed me to pick this book up, let alone to read it.

All I can say is, my brain is now mush. Thanks, Ann. "
— ???????, 11/9/2010" Another skewed book by Coulter. It makes me nod my head and go oh my God when someone gives this book 3 to 5 stars. You really shouldn't believe one single word Coulter says. "
— Darcy, 10/28/2010" I like this one better than "Treason." The best part is her defense of the southern battleflag that liberals have tried to portray as a symbol of slavery and oppression. This is not a book fit for children though, as there is some adult-themed material. "
— Dwain, 10/18/2010" I tried to read this just to see what Coulter was up to... Turned out to be just a load of BS. She actually did not make any point whatsoever!!! "
— Carlon, 9/17/2010" I greatly enjoyed this book, the only thing I have to "warn" against is that there is some sections of content more suitable for mature audiences (I'd say ages 18+). Other than that I really did enjoy it. "
— Krystina, 7/25/2010" I can't stand Ann Coulter, and I am a liberal... so not surprisingly I hated this book. She overused the phrase "sweaty arab" and other racial slurs. I listened to the audio version of this book with my husband on a trip. I wish I would have walked! "
— Jessica, 7/17/2010" I absolutely loved this book when it came out. I was in high school and incredibly right-winged at the time. I don't know that I would've enjoyed it if I'd read it more recently. "
