United by a desire to overcome their personal misfortunes, seven very different women formed an indelible bond and vowed to right wrongs wherever they found them. They’ve succeeded beyond their wildest dreams. After years known as the Vigilantes, Myra, Annie, Kathryn, Alexis, Yoko, Nikki, and Isabelle are enjoying their hard-won freedom and the chance at a normal life. As it turns out, once you’re a part of the Sisterhood, normal is a relative term. President Martine Connor, their long-time ally, has announced the formation of a top-secret organization. Officially, the CIC won’t exist. Unofficially, they’ll report directly to the president and tackle the jobs no one else can handle. For the Sisterhood, it’s the end of an era — and the beginning of a whole new adventure… Praise for Fern Michaels and her Sisterhood novels: “Revenge is a dish best served with cloth napkins and floral centerpieces…fast-paced…puts poetic justice first.” — Publishers Weekly on Payback “Delectable…deliver[s] revenge that’s creatively swift and sweet, Michaels-style.” — Publishers Weekly on Hokus Pokus

"I really enjoyed Fern Michael's earlier books, but I have to say the last few from this series, have not been as good..... 1-6 were amazing, then 7-16 were pretty good. Then it was like someone else started writing in place of Fern Michael?"
— Maria (5 out of 5 stars)
" I love the sisterhood series. But I had a really hard time with this last book! Not happy with the story at all. "
— Christina, 2/10/2014" This is my first book by author Fern Michaels. I was not impressed. The novel did not start to get interesting until the latter part of the book. In all fairness, maybe I should have read one of her first novels. It seems, there were many references to past experiences that meant nothing to me. Many of the characters fell magically in love instantly upon seeing their mate. I don't think I will be reading another novel by this author. "
— Barbara, 2/8/2014" In a bag of books from Joanne Ovens. An easy read while waiting for surgery . A bit tough to learn Who is who when you start at book number 20. Would not be opposed to reading more of Ferm Michaels but unlikely to seek her books out. "
— Sally, 2/2/2014" I have enjoyed Fern Michaels "Sisterhood" series of books. The way this one ended, I'm thinking it might be the last of the series. "
— Derla, 1/19/2014" This novel had an okay story (the Sisterhood trying to live normal lives, but none of them really wanted to do so...special gold shield badges given by the President for who-knows-what--the mystery of the story, and the requisite happy ending for all of them with a teaser for another "gold shield" mystery/cliffhanger in the epilogue). In addition, but it was too full of advertisements (or name-dropping of brands) on nearly every page, references to food/meals, and cliches. Her current novels are not nearly as good as the ones written ten-fifteen years ago. "
— Nancy, 1/11/2014" Love This Series. I have all of them. "
— Heather, 1/9/2014" This book was okay, but since I hadn't read the earlier ones with these characters, I felt like I was missing a lot. I also thought the plot was a bit disjointed, but that could be because I hadn't read the earlier ones first. "
— Nancy, 1/5/2014" I think this is the last of the vigilantes series that I will read. It was very boring. No real story. It is time to retire this series! "
— Kelly, 12/13/2013" all her books are starting to be way too similar....Need some more action like the first few books of the series! "
— Liberty, 11/30/2013" The 20th and final book in the sisterhood series (supposedly); although I think she left room to write more. I enjoyed it but don't think it was quite as good as the 19 before it. "
— Linda, 11/22/2013" Enjoyed the saga and LOVED the ending for a change. Kudos to Fern for an excellent idea. Can't wait till the next episode !! "
— Truitti, 10/21/2013" This was a good series, but 20 books was way too many. "
— Cheryl, 10/19/2013" wasn't that impressed. too many books too little time to waste on a book i not happy with. "
— Luci, 4/17/2013" I didn't like this book. Too many characters to keep track of. I'm wondering if there were books leading up to this one that explained who all these people were. "
— Pamela, 2/28/2013" Not quite the end to this series as I was expecting. I guess that maybe a good thing. "
— April, 2/15/2013" I really hated to see this series end. Maybe sometime in the future, the second generation of the vigilantes will rise again...I can only hope. Myra, Annie, and all the others, You Rock! "
— Sheila, 1/11/2013" Loved it and now I can't wait to see what happens. A little bit of a cliffhanger at the end. Enjoy! "
— Dana, 12/28/2012" Really sad to see this series end, I hope Fern Michaels reconsiders continuing it. I'm thinking she might based on how this book ends. "
— Jeanette, 11/15/2012" An easy read in between hard reading. I love this sisterhood series. "

— Randi, 10/12/2012" Loved the series. Couldn't wait for the next one to come out. I had a strong feeling that it wasn't really over. "
— Jackie, 8/24/2012" Great ending of a great series.. "
— Diane, 6/2/2012" Good ending with potential of a spin off. "
— Gretchen, 6/2/2012" I just picked this randomly. It may have been better if I had read the entire series. I'm a big mystery/action fan. This was more character development with the "sisters" than suspensful crime solving. "
— Lynette, 3/26/2012" Light read. No real direction in plot but ok for a beach read "
— Ann, 1/28/2012" Yay! The series is finally over! "
— Kelley, 12/8/2011" Do I see book 21 in the near future???? "

— Joann, 4/8/2011" I enjoy the "Sisterhood" series from Fern Michaels, although they have gotten predictible. The relationship between the characters keeps me coming back for more. "
— Heather, 3/11/2011" Another one of the Sisterhood Series. Can't wait for the next installment. As I've said before. You've got to read this series. It's an easy and fun read. "
— Jacqy, 1/25/2011" I love this book. I have been reading all of Fern Michaels books and just love them <br/> "
— Lisa, 1/2/2011" Pretty good, although I felt the ending was a bit rushed. After so much groundwork in the beginning of the book, it deserved a proper ending. Can't wait to see what the sisters do in the next installment. "
— Antoinette, 12/30/2010" Great book!! I'm so happy the series didn't end :) "

— Pat, 11/11/2010" This is a series. I enjoyed the first couple of books that I read a long time ago. I haven't read all of them, but it seems to me they are a little over the top. Probably won't read anymore. "
— Sandy, 11/10/2010" #17 of the Sisterhood Series and Fern Michaels has done it again.........She always find a new twist to the much loved characters. Awaiting the next one due in January '11. "
— Kathy, 11/4/2010" I still don't understand why there is a need for violence from the sisterhood. there is so many other things that can happen. "
— Truitti, 11/4/2010" the 18th book in Fern Michael's "Sisterhood" series - can't wait for the next one.... "
— Kathy, 10/18/2010" Good book as all of the sisterhood novels are. AFter the sisters have been apart for 18 months circumstances bring them together again for a mission and Global Securties owner is on the top of their to-do-list. "
