With yet another successful assignment behind them, the ladies of the Sisterhood have enjoyed a relaxing break together and celebrated the wedding of Myra and Charles on Big Pine Mountain. But as soon as the newlyweds return from their shortened honeymoon, they are hit with some exciting yet unsettling news… It seems their dear ally Lizzie Fox, recently ensconced as Chief White House Counsel, is rumored to be near the top of the short list for a soon to be vacated seat on the Supreme Court. While the Sisters are thrilled for Lizzie, they are concerned about her being ripped to shreds in the approval process, partly due to her connections with the Sisterhood. They also fear it will delay or even derail their long-awaited pardon promised to them by President Martine Connor. It will take a masterful plan, and loyal friends aiding them at every turn, for the Sisters to succeed in protecting Lizzie while securing their own freedom at last.

"Love it, love it! Charles and Myra are now married (finally!!), Lizzie has great news and really, in fact the entire group gets wonderful news! Although I read them out of order (finished 18 first) it wasn't difficult to follow. Glad I was able to snatch #19 & #20 from the library so I can now finally complete the series. Will be sad to see it end. I've become so attatched to the characters, I feel like I know them. :)"

" Lizzie Fox has started working for the president. Now rumors are going that she may be up for nomination to the Supreme Court. Meanwhile the women are waiting on their presidential pardons they have been promised. There's a lot of gossip going around and things are not all that they seem. "
— Patricia, 2/18/2014" Not sure how I felt about this one, the book was a little different than the rest. The Supreme Court appointment took the story a bit overboard for my taste. "
— Dawn, 2/13/2014" I wonder how she will deal with the next book. I find some book series weird when everything is happy ever after for all the major characters. That isn't life. But this is a guilty pleasure after an intense read of a previous book "
— Truitti, 2/10/2014" The Sisterhood or the "vigilantes" want their pardons from the U.S. president. Will they pull off their scheme? Global Securities is there to help the women and they did work well together. A little slow at first but the book got better as you read on. "
— Joanie, 2/3/2014" I have read most if not all of the sisterhood series and loved everyone of them. Can't wait until October when the next one comes out. "
— Donna, 2/1/2014" I really liked this book. since there is only books left in the series I find Fern Miochaels really focused on the relationships in this book. "
— Roma, 1/22/2014" Another good book in the Sisterhood series. I must say after 17 books I am ready to see if and how it will end. These characters are ones I have come to love and I enjoy following their stories. I definately recommend this series and all of the individual books add so much to it! "
— Wendy, 1/8/2014" I have had high hopes for this book... "
— Susanna, 1/7/2014" very good I dont know what else to say but it's worth reading the sisterhood series "
— Temptingat40, 1/1/2014" This one was just ok i love the sisterhood series but this one was surely lacking and just a rote novel in the series like a book was churned out just to put one out. Left me not caring too much what happens in the future books . "
— Michelle, 12/30/2013" The girls steal their pardons. "
— Toni, 12/25/2013" Wasn't one of my favorites! Took me awhile to plow through it. Guess I'm getting used to action packed thrillers. It was a good book, just not one I would pick up again to read. "
— Joyce, 12/24/2013" For being this far into the series I was surprised that the plot was juicy and not dull. I'm excited that there are still a few books left in the series. "
— Heidi, 11/22/2013" Have been reading the sisterhood series since the beginning so when I saw the last of the series while in grocery store line-up I had to pick it up. Not disappointed. "
— Dal, 11/6/2013" a summer "filler" "
— Wendy, 9/15/2013" And another great book by Fern Michaels.. I will be sad when this series is over... Just 2 and 1/2 more books to read.... THe mystery deepens...... "
— Diane, 5/31/2013" I liked the sisterhood series. I wonder if it is really over. Simple easy books that accomplish nothing but a escape from my crappy life. "
— Rosemary, 4/5/2013" Another sisterhood "
— Cris, 2/9/2013" was a quick read book "
— Patsy, 1/23/2013" All the books in this series have been wonderful. I love your books - keep them coming! "
— Linda, 11/29/2012" I really enjoy this series. I'm so glad it keeps going and going. Started this one on 01/15/2011. "
— Carol, 10/22/2012" This is the story line I have been waiting for for so long and it was finally here but I as I said before, this series has lost it's appeal a long time ago. The suspense of the missions have been lost but yet I keep reading... "
— Julie, 9/21/2012" re-read it so I could read book 18 "
— Krista, 7/29/2012" Some laugh-out-loud moments, not as much action and suspense as some others in this series. Some good conclusions and wrap-ups; could be end of series, could continue... "
— Lynn, 5/9/2012" What a disappointment. I have been waiting and looking forward to the climax of adventures of the "sisters". I thought this one would be the most exciting book yet and kept waiting for the "inevitale" problems to occur. Nothing, repeat, "nothing" happened for me!! "
— Pam, 9/5/2011" The end of the vigilanty series I think. In this one all loose ends are tied up and the girls are waiting for a pardon from the president. Ok but nothing special. "
— Cheryl, 4/21/2011" she's back on form "
