After years of trying to become pregnant without success, Rachel Dawson and her husband Thomas felt their dreams had finally come true the day they brought home their newly adopted twin babies. Though the lawyer Baron Bell who arranged for the surrogate mother charged a hefty six-figure fee, one glance into the eyes of their precious children told them it was all worth it - until the birth mother reappeared, first demanding more money, then the twins themselves. Suddenly Baron Bell was nowhere to be found, and the Dawsons were once again childless, heartbroken and nearly destitute. When the case finds its way to the offices of high-profile attorney Lizzie Fox, she can’t wait to take down the so-called “Mr. Wonderful.” And she knows she’ll have all the help she needs as it’s just the kind of crime that really gets the Sisterhood’s adrenalin flowing. Once they get their hands on the perpetrators there will be hell to pay, and it will cost a lot more than cold, hard cash.

"The books in this series have sure varied for me in terms of number of stars. I liked this one best of all because it was more of a fun, entertaining read without so many stomach turning scenes of torture. Still very light and with an incredible, silly plot but a quick, cozy, rainy day read."

— Damera, 12/31/2013" This is another good quick read in the Sisterhood series, the sixteenth of them and the second one I've read. It even has a hint of romance and drama, when they get revenge of a corrupt lawyer and his scheme to steal babies from adoptive parents. Deadly Deals takes place around winter time and good for a fun and an enjoyable read, just in time for the holidays. Enjoy! "
— Kristen, 12/30/2013" Love these women!! "

— Julie, 11/30/2013" Pretty good book. I didn't know it was #16 in a series when I picked it up. Guess now I have to go back and read the first 15. "
— Marsha, 11/23/2013" check + "
— Mary, 5/7/2013" Again this book is a fun read about the vigilantes, who done't get mad, just get even. This book was the usual romp about the sisterhood! "
— Donna, 4/29/2013" You gotta love a group of Vigilante Women who exact revenge on a couple of attorney's operating a kidnapping scheme. Great light read! "
— Terrie, 3/3/2013" This was entertaining but not as good as some of Michaels other books. Some of it was just so unrealistic. "
— Andrea, 10/27/2012" Laural Merlington reads this series and is excellent. The Sisterhood story lines are about equalizing injustice for women. They are creative and funny in a gape-mouthed way with characters you grow to love. "
— Donna, 9/25/2012" Another good Sisterhood book continuing her series. I have to laugh reading other's reviews. It's defintely not a good idea to pick up one of these books without reading them all ~ you will lose too much with all her references from other books. "
— Kathy, 9/16/2012" I love the Sisterhood series. I'm looking forward to the few more publications that Fern Michaels will be putting out. "
— Victoria, 6/26/2012" I enjoy the Sisterhood Series. The books are a quick read, and the story always rights a wrong. "
— Polly, 10/9/2011" Much better than the last one. The capers are always interesting with a little romance thrown in. "
— Nicola, 8/10/2010" This book was fun -completely crazy and unbelievable, but fun! Just when I thought the series was old and tired, The author came up with a cute story line! Guess I'll keep reading to the end of the series. "
— Elizabeth, 8/6/2010" The sisterhood is at it's best when they take on a cause that touches their hearts. And we even get a wedding in the story. There's plenty of action and some interesting things happen. "
