" Always have loved mysteries. Her book is a fast read. I could not put it down...wanted to know 'who did it'. Interested in reading other books by Lisa Gardner. "
-

Judy A | 2/13/2014
" Intense psychological thriller, really heavy on the suspense. Certainly worth the time to read. This was the first book I read by Lisa Gardner and won't be the last. She doesn't give away too much as I read through the book, but enough to keep you spellbound. If you like a wide ride while reading, Hide delivers. "

" Did not see this one coming! Great thriller! Could not put it down! Really liked the character Annabelle. "
-

Mike Jastrzebski | 2/7/2014
" I enjoyed this book very much, but I thought the ending was a little too coincidental. The antagonist did not seem real to me, his motivation unclear. "

-

" Bobby Dodge is back and working with D.D. Warren, now a sergeant, and the BPD, on a mass grave found on the grounds of the old Boston State Mental Hospital. It seems a lot like the work of Richard Umbrio from "Alone." I really liked how Gardner tied in a lot of characters from the first book, but introduced some new ones, such as Annabelle. I loved it and I can't wait to read the next one. "

" One of the best mysteries I've read in a while. Kept me guessing to the end. But in a good way, not in the Dean Koontz way of not even knowing the basic plot questions until the end. "
-

Joan Paquette | 6/11/2012

-

" Her books are amazing - this one is really interesting. She does seem to consistently have some sorts of child abduction/abuse themes in her novels - hard to digest if you are a parent, but I can't put her books down. "

" What a gripping read, I'm desperate to talk about this book, but don't want to give the plot away. Thoroughly gripping, entertaining and chilling. Very cleverly written. (And I didn't guess correctly who the murderer was, I fell for a red herring.)
"
-

" This is my personal favorite book by Lisa Gardner. Gripping, suspenseful, and moves at a very fast pace. I also found the plot a little more credible than some of her other books, but I will say that she does avoid repeating themes unlike some other writers *cough* (Dan Brown) *cough*.
"
-

Justina | 5/13/2011
