"This was my first 'Nora Roberts' read. I was leery at first because of the alarming genre title: 'Romance'. But my sister had been guzzling Nora's books for quite a while and I knew there had to be a reason for it. This sister also got me reading the 'In Death' series written by the same author just under the pseudonym 'J.D. Robb' and I loved the books I had read in that series up to that point. When I finally got around to this book, I quickly realized that although it was a romance story, it offered so much more. It led me on a thrilling chase. It was a perfect introduction to the author. I've read several of hers since and won't stop until she does."

" Nora's always a winner, especially when you need a good book to help you relax and unwind - imaginative, suspenseful, exciting. "
— Beth, 2/17/2014" I fell in love again <3 "
— Ewa, 2/14/2014" Forgotten how much I loved the cantankerous Jed Skimmerhorn. "
— Carol, 2/4/2014" Audio version. Good, if typical, romantic suspense from Roberts about an antique dealer who becomes the focus of a murder-minded collector. The hero gets a bit alpha sometimes, and strays awfully close to a$$holeland, but the heroine is good at putting him in his place. Once again I find I really don't like Sandra Burr's audio narration, but I enjoyed the book despite that. A bit dated now (written in the early 1990s), but rom-susp fans will enjoy it. "
— Sarah, 2/4/2014" I loved thid book. I couldn't put it down. The story was great, I loved the characters and it ended as it should. I would have loved an epilogue but I will just let my imagination flow. "
— Jami, 1/10/2014" I don't know how I missed this one! A good read: something for the mystery buff and the romantic! "
— Sophie, 1/10/2014" Ex-cop meets antique dealer who is pursued by a smuggler whose stolen items have gone astray. As usual, the characters and their jobs outshine the setting. "
— Sharon, 1/1/2014" Gostei muito deste livrinho. Adorei a Dora :) "
— Margarida, 12/21/2013" A well told mystery and of course, Nora's mesmerizing brand of love story. "
— Catherine, 11/30/2013" You can never go wrong with Nora Roberts! "
— Kimberly, 11/28/2013" A fairly modern romance thriller set in Philadelphia, PA which involves curio shop owner, Dora Conroy, and an ex-cop millionaire, Jed Skimmerhorn. Snappy dialogue between the characters and enough plot to keep the romance story interesting. "
— Jenny, 11/23/2013" Adding books to my list. I will have to go back and reread to write an accurate review. "
— Donna, 10/31/2013" It was was one my grandpa's books that i just found lying around. I didn't expect to like it, but i did. :) "
— mikha, 10/5/2013" I needed a quick light read after a couple of heavier reads and this one fit the bill. Classic Roberts book and I liked that it was longer than her 2-books in one book that I had read recently. "
— Tammy, 4/21/2013" One of the better Nora Roberts I have read...nice chemistry between leads, good, interesting supporting characters and enough suspense to keep me turning pages. Only aspect I didn't like was having main characters smoke cigarettes! ugh! "
— Suzanne, 4/19/2013" antiquing theme, typical Roberts- romance, 1001 ways to fall in love, but not too realistic, fun read "
— Thom, 4/9/2013" Loved this book. Interesting, charming and a mild mystery to go along with the romance. "
— Bobbie, 3/31/2013" I know I enjoyed it when I read it, but dont remember too much about it now. "
— Helen, 3/30/2013" Typical Nora Roberts. Fun read with some suspenseful scenes. "
