" Being a Christian since I was a little kid, I was always looking forward to Heaven but until I read this, I didn't understand how amazing it would be. I understand Alcorn takes some liberty with his answers but he always stays within Scripture and the character of God. The world has such a boring and distorted view of Heaven, that it turns many people off to God and salvation. This book is such a breath of fresh air and I believe every Christian should read it and pass on the good news of our future hope. "

" This is a great big book about Heaven by one of my favorite authors of both fiction and non-fiction. Inspiring and provocative, it's the best work I've ever read on the subject. "

" I'm sort of currently reading this - I have been for nearly a year, on and off, because it is so long. It is wonderful to think about what comes next, though! "

" This book echoed exactly what I think Heaven will be like. Nothing new here, but an interesting read backed up by scripture. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Billy | 1/25/2014

    " Best book on Heaven, I've every read. It's a paradigm-shifter, I would say. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Maria M. Elmvang | 1/23/2014

" Randy Alcorn brings forth a lot of ideas I'd never thought of before (like an intermediate Heaven where believers go between the time they die and the bodily resurrection to the New Earth - it makes lots of sense and there is Biblical grounds for it, I'd just never heard that theory before) and while there are a few where I think he draws broader conclusions than the Scripture allows, on most of his theories I completely agree. I highly recommend it to any Christian. If you don't really look forward to going to Heaven, because you think it'll be boring or unlike what you're used to here or for whatever other reason it'll shake you up and give you something new to think about. I know that for me, personally, it's made me look more forward to going to Heaven than ever before, and I just wish I could take all my loved ones with me. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 John Martindale | 1/17/2014

" Over 450 pages echoing what I already believed. That heaven is a new physical earth with time and space, and that we'll have physical bodies and enjoy culture, creating, food, work, adventure, travel, parties, friends and of course God. Good book, made me look forward to dying :) "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Jo | 1/8/2014

" Strong BIBLICALLY-BASED encouragement that will revolutionize one's life. Be prepared to read and devour slowly, one chapter at a time. Don't rush through, although the reading is definitely NOT difficult at all. "

" Thus far, I am disappointed. We are into Session 2, and I am not finding where his work is Bible based. His book is very well written, however, when I go and look at Scripture he quotes, I do not see how he deducted his thoughts from God's word. "
