Publisher Description

My name is Susannah Simon, and I am a mediator--a liaison between the living and the dead. If you think this gets in the way of my attempt at a normal sixteen-year-old, you'd be right. You try going to the mall while constantly being accosted by the undead. Not that this is a bad thing all the time. Like, for example, when I discovered my bedroom is haunted by Jesse, the ghost of a nineteenth-century hottie. While I haven't made much progress with him (only one kiss so far), I remain optimistic. Jesse's inexplicable resistance to my charms is not my only obstacle, though: There's this other guy. A live one, who has the same gift of gab with the undead I have. In the same way I'm after Jesse, this guy is after me. And he knows hot to send Jesse to the Great Beyond. For good.

"LOVED this book! I love the setting, characters, plot and conflicts and how it's paranormal but still good to read (since I'm not overly fond of the paranormal genre).! I can't say I totally relate to Suze but you just can't help but love her. And the love triangle- even better. I read this first not knowing there were others in the series so I hurriedly went and got the rest to read. 5/5 stars."

" This book was fun. Good teen voice. I listened to it as an audiobook, but I thought it was the first book so I did feel like I'd missed a bit. My 9yr old enjoyed it too. "

" This is a filler book. Nothing really happens and you know it is setting the scene for the next novel. I am only reading this series to find out how they resolve the Jessie situation. "

" Characters fully developed, action rising steadily, romance in full flower -- can't wait to see how this author puts these two together -- permanently. I'm starting to see the teenager stuff as very funny. Maybe teenagers wouldn't think so, but the constant fashion references are pretty hilarious. "

" This series is just your fairly typical teen romance.... it was a fun, brainless read (which is kind of nice sometimes). I was a little bugged at times by just how "teen" it was, but what else could I have expected with it being a teen book??? "
