" The Mallorean is a series sequel to The Belgariad series. It was a great continuation of the characters as they are now adults and taking them on another journey. "

" Most of the book was petty banter between the characters with very little movement of the plot. If you are in the mood for it some of the chit-chat can be entertaining, but very little happens. This is a 5 book series so a fair amount of build-up is expected, however so far I have found the story simple and rather lackluster. Nevertheless, it is enjoyable to be following the familiar characters from the Belgariad so I'll probably continue and hope for some better twists and turns. "

" This was a very good book to follow up on the Belgariad series. It hooked me when I was about eight, and I still enjoy reading it. However, I do like this series better than the Belgariad. It doesn't require as much exposition, and that is what kinda made the Belgariad drag by. "
