Amaryllis, Mississippi is a scrappy little town of strong backbone and southern hospitality. A brick-paved Main Street, a park, and a legendary ghost in the local cemetery are all part of its heritage. Everybody knows everybody in Amaryllis, and gossip wafts on the breeze. Its people are friendly, its families tight. On the surface Amaryllis seems much like the flower for which it’s named—bright and fragrant. But the Amaryllis flower is poison. In the past three years five unsolved murders have occurred within the town. All the victims were women, and all were killed in similar fashion in their own homes. And just two nights ago—a sixth murder. Clearly a killer lives among the good citizens of Amaryllis. And now three terrified women are sure they know who he is—someone they love. None is aware of the others’ suspicions. And each must make the heartrending choice to bring the killer down. But each woman suspects a different man.

"There's a serial killer loose in a small town. After the sixth murder, three different women have three entirely different suspects in my mind. Collins does a great job of weaving these three characters together. It was a suspenseful, intriguing read with like able characters."
— Emily (4 out of 5 stars)
“Collins does it again with her trademark suspense that will keep readers up late into the night…expertly written and an incredibly worthwhile read.”
— RT Book Reviews (4 stars)“The book moves along briskly, alternating the three women’s voices as they each work through the mystery and come together to share information. The popular novelist’s talent continues to flower.”
— Publishers Weekly" To me, this is a mix of The Help and Steel Magnolia's (which I love) with mystery blended in. Brandilyn Collins is excellent, as always, but I didn't enjoy this story as well as some of her others. "
— Lisa, 12/1/2013" Review forthcoming via Quirky Girls Read 03/20! "
— Molly, 11/15/2013" The first book I've read of Brandilyn's with multiple pov heroine, all set on the same goal. Loved it! "
— Cynthia, 11/6/2013" Not a terribly suspenseful novel for an author "known for her trademark Seatbelt Suspense". "
— Valerie, 10/11/2013" Wow, this was an intense book. Really great read. "
— Sheri, 8/7/2013" Quick, easy read. The mystery wasn't hard to figure out, but it was written in the form of three women telling their storyy, each of them thinking the know who the killer is, which made it more interesting. "
— Marguerite, 7/23/2013" Love southern fiction! "
— Julie, 5/28/2013" This was a really fun ride through Mississippi and the small town of Amaryillis. Two days and I devoured it. Yup a real page turner, my wife had to drag me away from my Adobe Reader to decorate the deck for her party. "
— Bill, 12/25/2012" This was my first time to read a book by this author, and I thought it was great!! "
— Shelly, 10/20/2012" I have to admit there were times I was tempted to put the book down and not finish it, but I couldn't. It got to where I wanted to know how it ended. I didn't suspect who the closet killer was, I did have an idea on Erica's. "
— Maryann, 10/11/2012" Not the best of Brandilyn's work but still very suspenseful and entertaining. Loved her main female character, Cherrie Mae, better than the two other heroines of the book. "
