Publisher Description

In the third mesmerizing tale in Melissa Marr’s #1 New York Times bestselling Wicked Lovely series, old friends become new enemies—and one wrong move could plunge the Earth into chaos.

Seth never expected he would want to settle down with anyone, but that was before Aislinn. She is everything he'd ever dreamed of, and he wants to be with her forever. Forever takes on new meaning, though, when your girlfriend is an immortal faery queen.

Aislinn never expected to rule the very creatures who'd always terrified her, but that was before Keenan. He stole her mortality to make her a monarch, and now she faces challenges and enticements beyond any she'd ever imagined.

Seth and Aislinn struggle to stay true to themselves and each other—all while navigating the shadowy rules and shifting allegiances of the Faery Courts.

"I loved it! But, the ending is sad because Seth is a faery and after all he's done to become a faery and spend eternity with Ash, she's now dating Keenan. And don't get me started with Donia. I mean what kind of "friend" stabs you in the stomach with ice? But, it was still really good. "

Quotes

  • “Marr deftly explores the essence of longing as she questions notions of fated love…Marr’s dark sensibility imbues the series with an eerie, sexy, mysterious ambience that gives it just the edge it needs.”

    — Amazon.com, editorial review
  • “Marr takes her faeries and makes them seem real in her latest breathtaking tale. This entertaining story twists as long-laid plot points come to fruition and readers are kept on their toes throughout. It’s a keeper!”

    — RT Book Reviews (4½ stars)
  • “Narrator Nick Landrum uses a gentle, whispery voice, and he reads at a leisurely yet deliberate pace. His delivery suits the story.”

    — AudioFile
  • “Marr has created a world both harsh and lush, at once urban and natural, with decaying buildings covered with blooming vines, unkempt Victorian mansions, an overgrown park for the Summer Court, with living Rowan people, gazing ravens, and a mysterious fountain.”

" I enjoyed reading the tales and woes of the summer court again in this third installment of this series. The characters lives are intertwining together more and the plot thickens with the changes to Seth and how he might affect the existing courts from here on out. Fun read. "

" Well this was better than the other 2 books......Seth finally comes into his own and has the capasity to be magnificant! the summer court is in caos and the other 2 are only getting stronger. It leaves the story in a wonderful position for the next book, lets hope it lives up to the promise. "

" Out of the three Wicked Lovely books i have read so far, this one is no doubt my favorite! The plot was amazing, and when i finished the story i wanted to read more...It was such a cliffhanger =D. I can't wait to read Radiant Shadows! "

" I would have given this book five stars; it was well written, I like the story line, I like the characters but with one exception--I just don't like Ash. She seems so weak-minded and feeble that I think the story would be better if Seth was in love with Donia. Just my two cents. "

" So I found that I enjoyed reading this book more than the last one in the series. I was continously hoping that she would choose Keenan, which is weird because I like Seth's character too. I am looking forward to see what happens in the next book that involves Aislinn, Keenan and Seth. "

" I was hesitant to keep reading this series and I was right in being so hesitant. I didn't enjoy this book at all. I found the relationships among everyone to be annoying and uninteresting to say the least. "

" I liked this book a lot. I'm kind of unhappy with how unresolved the relationship between Seth and Ash is at this point, but I suppose thats what book 5 (?) will resolve. I love how everyone, or just about everyone, is so protective of Seth and I'm really excited to see what becomes of him now. "

" I was left hanging page after page of this book, with faeries that are kind, but unkind. I think I fell more in love with Seth in this book than the other books. Niall is forever my favorite character though and I really enjoyed reading more of him in this book. This book is kind, but unkind. "
