" I didn't like this novel but to be fair to the book, I am not its target audience. I am a 30+ atheist, I suspect if you were a young Christian you would really enjoy this novel. Since that's not me, I didn't. "

" Much better than Tantalize. Guardian angel takes helping his charge to the whole next level when he saves her from death but punishes her with being undead as a vampire. Even when he falls from his angel status though, he never stops loving her and trying to save her. "

" I'm not a big fan of smith's work to be honest. I read this book thinking it was the first, and only just now found out it is a second in a series, so maybe that's why I was so confused... "

" I just finished reading this today. I liked it, and the ending makes it seem as if there will be a sequel, but I don't think there will be one...at least not a continuation of this story. I'd love to read one, though. "

" Now this book is crazy, and yes after reading this a couple of years ago, my fad with vampires ended. The plot of the story is good but the characters and the pairing is a little weird. But the saving grace of this book is actually its reference to the best literary pieces. "
