It’s another awful year at Bathory High for Vladimir Tod. Joss, a professional vampire slayer and Vlad’s former friend, has moved back to town. The powerful vampire Dorian has an overwhelming desire to drink Vlad’s blood. And his archenemy, D’Ablo, has brought Vlad’s Uncle Otis to trial for crimes against vampires. So much for dating. When the tables turn on Vlad, he has just enough time to return to Bathory for his final good-byes.

"It was a really good book. It was suspenseful. This time more stuff happens and it was really interesting. Like Vlad broke up with Meredith for her safety but she wants a reason why. Vlad doesn't want to tell her that he is a vampire and was close to killing her. His ex friend joss who is a vampire slayer is trying to kill Vlad once again. His uncle told him that Joss isn't a friend and he should focus on not getting killed. But Vlad's friend Henry is always there for him. I liked how everything was it got me so interested in finishing the series."
