"Fun stuff! This is the third in the series I've read this summer. This one is not as good as two, but close to or better than one. Relentless action-adventure. I love how Higson let's you into young Bond's mind. Makes him feel real. Also how he is slowly starting to get James to charm the ladies almost effortlessly."

— Stephanie, 1/30/2014" a very good read - clever plot, quirky characters and good writing. "
— Antonia, 1/29/2014" Not as compelling as the other 2. The main mystery involves some over-the-top complicated type of word clues that I found very distracting. "
— Angela, 1/26/2014" This book absoloutely rocked. It was quick and suspenseful action. The series does not take a wrong turn with this one. "

— Jeanette, 11/14/2013" Full of suspense, loved the book so much. Cant say one thing about it, all of the details lead to a spoiler....... "
— Chris, 11/1/2013" I thought that it was a really Good book Because in most series someone helps the main character out in one book but you don't hear of them again, "
— 10-11Randall, 8/17/2013" The third book got back on track. I liked the way this story leaned more towards the mental development of the character with thoughtful puzzles that needed to be solved. "
— Trent, 4/7/2013" It was So incredibly thrilling. "
— Cpertuit, 3/7/2013" This was my favorite of the books on young James Bond. It pretty much has the same buildup as all the others but it has a cooler plot. If you haven't read the previous ones this could get confusing though... backtrack to the other ones...then read this. :) "
— MizziQ, 9/25/2012" Another of James Bond's exciting adventures! A very exciting story - I couldn't put it down! "
— Lainie, 8/24/2012" I just plain did not like this book. The first part of it was very good and suspenseful, but it got to complicated for even me to follow (this is a juvenile book) in the end. It is gory and violent in places. "
— Kristi, 8/16/2012" These books are cool. They are action adventure stories for boys, with the greatest spy ever as the main character. Of course, he is just a schoolboy at Eton in these stories. Set in the 1930s, young James and his friends solve word clues to discover the whereabouts of one of their professors. "
— Suzanne, 12/11/2011" A fast paced romp through the world of espionage. I like his style, just must be careful not to try to make to so fantastic as to find it hard to believe. "
— Gillian, 9/12/2011" Just a fun, smart summer read. Perfect for a pre-teen kid, therefore perfect for me. "
— S, 8/15/2011" Very complex, depends on how much you like that. In this book James receives a letter filled with clues from his teacher disappears. "
— Patrick, 7/14/2011" This was my favorite of the books on young James Bond. It pretty much has the same buildup as all the others but it has a cooler plot. If you haven't read the previous ones this could get confusing though... backtrack to the other ones...then read this. :) "
— TikiPaws12, 5/10/2011" It is an engaging quick read about James Bond as a student at Eton. I made it over halfway through the book in one sitting. Very engaging. Loved the characters and the pace of the action. "
— Cheryl, 1/24/2011" Very complex, depends on how much you like that. In this book James receives a letter filled with clues from his teacher disappears. "
— Patrick, 1/11/2011" James Bond is getting the crap beat out of him at a very young age. He will need some serious physical therapy after this adventure. "
— Jeff, 11/11/2010" Wow. I can't believe that Charlie Higson has once again managed to make a sequel that was better the the last one. Amazing, and in true James Bond form, action packed. Fabulous! "
— Katniss, 9/12/2010" My favourite of the Young Bond Series, because it is as much about brain power as about action and adventure. Bring on the cryptic crossword as a plot device! "
— Simon, 2/19/2010" This is my favorite of this series so far! I liked all the cryptic word puzzles in it and of course, there's endless amounts of action as well as gruesome medical oddities at a Surgeons' museum. And the new addition of a strong capable girl character... "
— Barbara, 7/12/2009" Great guy book - James Bond as a kid with lots of action and adventure. This series is similar to the Alex Rider rider series but with fewer gadgets and more political messages. "
