"WHAT A READ!! This book is FILLED with suspense. Randy Singer does a great job of keeping readers guessing with this story of a corrupt government with leadership who are willing to do anything to prevent religious freedom and those who are willing to fight against the corruption. When the Reeds, US Missionaries who went to Saudi Arabia to preach Christianity to those who were in the Islamic land, were identified by the government and victimized for the same, this story takes off. Brad Carson and his team of lawyers are on the case, and the twists and turns that occur are nothing short of remarkable. Nikki, a paralegal who's full of wit and quick to use a little "grease" to make things happen; Bella, the legal secretary who is fiercely loyal to Brad and runs the office like a well oiled machine; and Leslie, the law student who is wise beyond her years and well on her way to becoming a true courtroom rival make up a legal team that gives the Saudi Arabian government and all that is connected a courtroom battle no one could ever see coming. The subplots are equally as interesting as the master plot for this book, and it all fits together to tell a story that left me wishing for more."

" I really enjoyed this book. I liked the characters and there was good suspense. It has a Christian theme but that theme is well worked into the story line. "
— Laura, 2/18/2014" This really made my blood boil at times. I have no regard for the law or politics. This is a prime example of why. Not to mention the arrogance of one particular country!! "
— Melly, 2/18/2014" Brilliant court room drama with a Christian theme. Randy Singer is everything John Grisham used to be. "

— Beth, 2/2/2014" This was hard to read. Gut wrenching as a Christian to read what these missionaries went through and it left me just sick and wondering if I would've been so willing to give up everything for God in the face of such cruelty. "
— Whitney, 1/29/2014" This is a pretty good book. His writing style isn't brilliant, but it is a good story, with an unexpected twist near the end. A couple of questions were raised but were never answered, but this book is worth reading. "

— C.J., 10/22/2011" I haven't read a court drama for a while so this one was an OK change. I was a bit unsure what I felt about this book as I went along as it felt a bit preachy - literally. It was a little bit cutsey in the end but maybe I should have just relaxed and gone with the flow. "
