"If you think you know Lisa Scottoline's writing (and I was pretty sure I did), you will be pleasantly surprised and overwhelmed by CORRUPTED. I normally listen to audiobooks while driving, but I was so completely into this one, I took it into a hotel room to keep listening to it.
Bennie Rosato is human, and has feelings - yes, I was surprised too. She does keep secrets from her associates (well, at least one). Mix in gaming/fantasy characters and Bennie's need to right a previous wrong, and you have an excellent novel (even more exciting than we usually get from Lisa).
