Izzy Zanella wasn't looking for another reason to butt heads with his Navy SEAL teammate, and nemesis, Danny Gillman. But then he met Danny's beautiful younger sister, Eden. When she needed it most, he offered her a place to stay, a shoulder to cry on - and more. And when she got pregnant with another man's child, he offered her marriage. But Eden's devastating miscarriage shattered their life together - and made the intense bad blood between Izzy and Danny even worse.
Now Eden's back, and she's on a mission to rescue her teen brother, Ben, from their abusive stepfather. Even if she and Izzy can prove that their broken marriage is still in one piece, winning legal custody of Ben is a long shot. But they're not alone: Danny and his girlfriend, Jenn, offer to help, and he and Izzy agree to bury the past and fight for Ben's future. As they plan their strategy, Izzy and Eden grapple with the raw passion that still crackles between them - while Danny and Jenn confront new depths in their own rocky relationship. But events take a terrifying turn after Ben befriends a girl fleeing a child prostitution ring. When the young runaway seeks refuge with Eden and Izzy, her pursuers kidnap Ben - and a deadly standoff begins. Now they must all pull together like never before and strike back, swift and hard, to protect their unconventional little family and everything they hold most precious.

"Another great story by Suzanne Brockmann. Can't get enough of her books! Liked the Dan and Jenni storyline, but didn't love the Izzy and Eden story as much, which is why I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5. I had heard that this was going to be her last Navy SEALS book for a while, which makes me very sad!"
— Tricia (4 out of 5 stars)
" An excellent semi-ending to this series! I'm sad to finally reach the end of the currently published books. Oh well, on to the next! "
— Samie, 2/18/2014" Good guys vs bad buys, do they love one another or not, tough family situations -- all make for a very enjoyable read. "
— Karen, 2/10/2014" enjoyed seeing dan and jennilyn's story develop further as well as what happens with poor izzy and his broken heart. lots of action, adventure, misunderstandings and love. great read! "
— Nichole, 1/29/2014" Just love these books, but certainly not an intellectual read! "
— Lorie, 1/11/2014" Wow, non-stop action! I couldn't put it down. Love Suzanne Brockman's books. Her characters are great, and the books are always funny as each character talks to his or herself. "
— Jallioop, 1/2/2014" Fun. Izzy and Eden work things out. "
— Belinda, 11/22/2013" I like the Troubleshooter characters, and her books are always a fun read. "
— Lorie, 11/10/2013" I was looking forward in this last book to catch up with the rest of her seal team sixteen since it was going to be her last book for a while. There were barely any team members from last books. It was missing the suspense for me and it took me a while to finish when i usually just race through them. "
— Read, 10/7/2013" Don't know why, but Izzy has always been my least favorite character of the series. I wasn't thrilled with this book, but I'm glad he got his HEA! "
— Jennifer, 10/7/2013" 507 pages "
— Barb, 7/26/2013" Another excellent story from Ms. Brockmann. It was however, a little "too too" much for me in places. Still ... all-in-all, a very good book. "
— Sharla, 7/6/2013" Liked the story. Didn't like the narrators. "
— Kathy, 4/9/2013" This wasn't Brockmann at her best. I enjoyed the story and finishing the Izzy & Danny stories, but I missed the characteristic return of the other SEALS. The story was also a little corny, and Jules' 'appearance' was far too short, to tell the major characters they were in BIG TROUBLE. "
— Jessica, 10/22/2012" Love this author, and her books that continue the stories of the personal and professional lives of the Navy SEALS. "
— Barbara, 10/15/2012" Loved it! Getting Izzy Zanella and his wife, Eden back together, even with or maybe, inspite of the craziness going on around them was a treat to see through their eyes. And some tough issues were addressed with insight and sensitivity, as well. So good. "
— Renne, 7/22/2012" The last Troubleshooters book did not disappoint. Sigh. "
— Ryann, 5/21/2011" latest of the "Troubleshooter" series..... "
— Joel, 5/18/2011" Did not see this one coming! I love, love, love Izzy! And Danny was never a slouch either;) I like how Brockmann takes such hardhitting topics (white slavery in this one) and puts them into stories that makes them bearable to read. "
— Julie, 5/16/2011" I love Suz. Love. Maybe a tiny bit too much family drama but overall such a great read, awesome characters whom I adore and fun story! "
— Angie, 5/3/2011" I'm going to miss the troubleshooters :( "
— Evanne, 4/30/2011" Thanks to Granny for introducing me to Suzanne Brockmann's troubleshooters! "
