" I read many good reviews of this series; I tried the first and it just didn't work for me. The writing was mediocre and the characters pretty weak. I didn't like the "love interest" at all either. "

She grew up in New Orleans and lived in New York City for many years, editing and writing a multitude of popular children’s series.
