"This book is centered around Oak Ridge and the Manhattan Project in Tennessee. Although the beginning seems to be a typical murder/mystery written by Jefferson Bass, once you get into the main body of the novel there is nothing typical about it. I learned alot about World War II and the atomic bomb while reading this which surprised me. It was a very nice change of pace from the last few Jefferson Bass books that I have read."

" It was interesting learning about the history of the radiation, the harm and benefits of it. Alot of people put themselves at great risk for the advance of technology. I love this series. "
— Gloria, 2/19/2014" Better than the last one, I liked this one but again the mystery wasn't the main focus. "
— Emily, 2/16/2014" Good, man found with radio active pellet in him. Oak Ridge involvement. "
— Mary, 2/15/2014" I didn't particularly like this one. It has alot of descriptions and it has a lot of forensics that I have found to be boring. "
— Theresa, 2/9/2014" Ok read - thought the ending was a forced and contrived. "
— Caroline, 2/9/2014" The Body Farm Novels...another of my favorite series. This one had a different feel to it, almost like historical fiction. Loved it from beginning to end! "
— Corinne, 1/17/2014" This is the best of the series so far, in my humble opinion. Not only is there a good mystery murder plot, there is a wealth of information on the Manhattan Project and insights into many facets of FBI and detective work. Loved it. "
— Phyllis, 1/5/2014" Interesting. Addicting. Wonderfully written. There's nothing that I love better than a book that makes me think and this book did that. "
— Olivia, 12/23/2013" I have liked this series of books. This one had the added story and history of the Manhattan Project/Oak Ridge--great intrigue!! "
— Amy, 12/15/2013" This one had an interesting premise, the solving of a murder that went back to the days of the Manhattan Project. It also details some things that make me terrified of radiation poisoning. I love this series! "
— Michelle, 11/24/2013" Bones of Betrayal by Jefferson Bass is a very interesting book. You really learn a lot about the area you live in if you live in East Tennessee. I enjoyed the book very much and will continue to read the other books that have been written by Jefferson Bass. Please keep on writing!! "
