"Excellent book, Starts out fast and slows for a couple of chapters. Then takes off again. Set in Colorado in the 1860s it was a fun and simple book about how people rely on there faith to guide them and what great things can come of it. This is a series but can be read as stand alones. I did not read the other stories but am going to go back to the store and pick one up."

— Lucy, 1/24/2014" Second book of The Timber Ridge series, I checked this book out of the town library. Molly Whitcomb is the new school teacher with a secret in her past. She is successful in the classroom but struggling with her mistakes and when to tell people the truth. An enjoyable read. "

— Debbie, 12/6/2013" Molly Whitcomb comes to Timber Ridge with a secret and isn't sure how long she will stay once her secret is out. A story about lies, deception and forgiveness. "
— Cheri, 11/10/2013" I enjoyed this second installment of the Timber Ridge Series. You were able to catch up with some of the main characters from book 1 but it didn't focus on them but rather new characters. The dialogue is engaging and the story itself was well put together. Looking forward to the next book! "
— Brooke, 10/16/2013" It's not my favorite when an entire story is about a lie. It gave me a stomach ache wondering why Molly couldn't just suck it up and tell the truth- but I loved the writing, descriptions, and characters. "

— Relyn, 10/17/2011" Good for a quick romance fix. Molly Whicomb comes to Colorado to escape her past mistakes only to find that escaping the truth is not so easy "
— Camille, 10/1/2011" More of the same Alexander drug! Same plot and same types of characters, but a great, relaxing distraction. "
