" Apart from the unlikely climax, not badly plotted. Not as good as his book about the forensic odontologist, the title of which escapes me. "

" not the type of book I usually read, but it was a fast one and suspenseful. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Brittany | 1/20/2014

" This was a great read! I found it really really easy to get into. I had seen the movie Trapped (which is based off the book)before reading this but found the actual book to be much better! "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Leslea | 1/6/2014

" Loved the tension - it takes place over 24 hours (hence the title!!) so this means that the pace keeps on going. A good kidnap drama with a bit of a twist. "

  • 1 out of 51 out of 51 out of 51 out of 51 out of 5 Christy | 1/1/2014

" While there was some good suspenseful moments in this thriller, I'm not sure that the terrible writing was worth those few moments. In fact, I'm sure it wasn't I probably would have stopped reading it if I hadn't completely run out of other books to read. "

    " A real thriller "

  • 2 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 5 Melissa | 12/8/2013

" I suppose my issue was the limited characters. This added tension, but I got to the point where I wanted another character to come in. But an interesting story. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Melanie | 11/19/2013

" This is not a book I would normally read. A friend recommended it and I really enjoyed it. Not a meaty read, but worth it. "

" Awesome thriller.....dont read if you have seen the movie "Trapped" with Kevin Bacon. The movie was based off this book and it will spoil the ending! If you havent seen the movie...read...it keeps you going! "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Bryan | 11/11/2013

" Pretty decent thriller. Not great, but a good, solid read. The antagonist, Joe Hickey, is the best part of this book. "

" Decent book...might have been more into it if I wasn't also in school and busy with other things. Still, interesting plot, no real twists, though...I like a book with a surprise in it. I would check out other of his books, if I ran across them in the $1 goodwill bookstore where I got this one. "

" Bought this in the airport because I wanted something to read. It kept my mind somewhat occupied but it's a typical thriller, reasonably well-written but not thought provoking in the least. Once read, never remembered. Off to the thrift shop it goes! "

" This book kept me on the edge of my seat and had me questioning what I would do to protect my family. This is also one of the few books I've read that had me feeling compassion for the bad guy. A truly wonderful book. Greag Iles is one of my favorite authors! "
