" This was a rather generic thriller, the only interest being in how two seemingly-separate narratives were eventually going to be connected. The one thing that really bugged me, however, was the author's overuse of exclamation points. I swear that every sentence or thought of the main character ended in an exclamation point. It really irked me, and seemed unnecessary in most of the places it was used. "

" I read most of this book, well it was mostly speed-reading. I skipped parts. It was very well written, it told a coherent story with a decent plot. I can see how some people would find it very entertaining. Personally I didn't find the characters compelling or sympathetic enough to really care. It might just be me, but I think part of it at least is the book lacks depth. "
