"At first glance this book seems like a slow, almost boring, first-person narrative, like reading someone's journal. But with a little patience (and imagination) we start getting into the mind of Freemantle, painting with him under the sunsets and feeling our arms itch with him. It was worth the wait. The thought of a cursed Florida Key is exciting, but the thought of bringing life and death to your paintings is even better. Stephen King, you've done it again old chap!"
