"If you judge a book by its cover, this one would have won the I won't read award. However, this is a delightful vampire book that is focused on Los Angeles. Absolutely geared to walk the native through local haunts and new ideas. Good summer read."

" Continuation. I really like the Chicano twist to the typical urban fantasy. The main character is likeable, too. Definitely recommend this series. "

" I admit a secret enjoyment of vampire stories. This one's ok--it's a quick, enjoyable read but not too memorable. It's actually a sequel but I haven't read the first one. It has some nice points (sun blocking makeup so the vamps can go out in daylight, national network of vampires) but it's basically a cheesy vampire novel. It would make a good beach read. "

" Sequil to Nymphos Of Rocky Flats, the continuing saga of a vampire PI. The hero has worked through his angst of the first book. Lots of action, interesting cast of characters, and the plot wraps up nicely without much help from the hero. Good reading but not a keeper. "

" Cool sequel. These are not your normal vampires. Don't let his titles push you away. I liked the change Mario puts into this series. Sure it's not rocket science, but then we are talking about vampires. "

" This is a quick read - despite being a bit embarrased at the barnes and nobel for picking up all of Mario Acevedo's books - its pretty good so far. It's a really fun, quick read. Not as X-rated so far as you'd think by the title! "

" Of course a book written by a MALE author is centered around the porn industry and is full of cliches. The only reason I finished this was because I needed an "X" for my A-Z title challenge. Then I realized I paid $9.99 for this book. OMG Just shoot me! "
