We're the D'Artigo sisters: Half-human, half-Faerie, we are savvy—and sexy—operatives for the Otherworld Intelligence Agency. But our mixed-blood heritage short-circuits our talents at all the wrong times. My sister Delilah shapeshifts into a tabby cat whenever she's stressed. Menolly's a vampire who is still trying to get the hang of being undead. And me? I'm Camille—a wicked-good witch. Except my magic is as unpredictable as the weather, which my enemies are about to find out the hard way.
At the Wayfarer Inn, a portal to Otherworld and the local hangout for humans and beasties alike, a fellow operative, Jocko, has been murdered. Every clue points to Shadow Wing, the soul-munching, badass leader of the Subterranean Realms. He has made it clear that he aims to raze humankind to the ground. Our assignment: Keep Shadow Wing and his minions from creeping into Earth via the Wayfarer. The demons figure they're in like Flynn. After all, with only my bumbling sisters and me standing in the way, how can they miss? But we've got a secret for them: Faulty wiring or not, nobody kicks ass like the D'Artigo girls.

"The first in a series. I enjoyed the story very much. I would not recommend this book for young adults as the erotica is explicit. This book centers on three sisters, one a witch, one a werecat, one a vampire who are all 1/2 fairie and 1/2 human. They must help mankind from being taken over by the Dark powers. They are helped along by a dragon and other mystical beings. Very well written."

" Different but not all that exciting. "
— Amanda, 1/24/2014" It was not a memorable book. So I can't really say much about it. The premise was interesting but I guess the story or the heroine was not engaging. "
— Arani, 12/12/2013" The whole set up felt artificial. The sisters (one of each for you!), acronyms, human/fairie collaborative agencies...eh. I couldn't muster through the whole thing. "
— Kaye, 12/7/2013" A good story that goes fast. "
— Robert, 11/8/2013" It was interesting to go back and re-read this after reading the rest of the series over time. "
— Linda, 11/2/2013" This book lost me when the author found it necessary to tell me the main characters breast size. Poorly written and the characters are just idiots. "
— Ashley, 10/21/2013" Was ok. But not really my style. "
— Kadi, 10/19/2013" It was very, very good! "
— Teresa, 8/11/2013" Seems like it wanted to be too many other books in it's genre. "
— Jason, 7/31/2013" Bad, so incredibly bad. Just an excuse for two perfect characters to sleep with each other. "
— Mediocrity, 5/12/2013" Overall I liked this quite a bit. Enough that I picked up the 2nd book when I found it the other day. I know I've said it before, but I'm still constantly amazed at how many different varieties of urban fantasy various authors come up with and they rarely seem derivative of each other. "
— John, 8/25/2012" I love this series!!! One of the best books I have read in a while. "
— Danna, 4/10/2012" Loved this book and really liking the rest of the series :) "
— Kat, 1/17/2012" Sadly I couldn't finish this book. I guess my review isn't based on all the facts but I just couldn't get into the story or characters. I'll be sending it on to my mom to see if she likes it though. "
— Tamara, 12/24/2011" DNF..toward the middle of the book, it just didn't hold me anymore so I put it down and didn't pick it back up again. "
— Elise, 9/6/2011" 1st in a series-I have now read and greatly enjoyed the first three-I first read Yasmine's Chintz and China series and I was wary of this one-but it is a good imaginative series for all of us who are wishful of there being something more exciting out there. "
— Carol, 6/27/2011" One of those books that tries to do everything and winds up doing nothing well. There is an interesting minor character later in the book, but that's really about it. "
— Karen, 5/12/2011" Tek kelime ile berbat . Fazlasiyla Hamilton'in Merry'si kokuyor.Ama sadece kokuyor , yanindan geçemez. Büyün hayatim boyunca verdigim paraya acidigim tek kitap olma özeligi tasiyor benim için :/. "
— Buqet, 5/5/2011" I really enjoyed it! It was a really quick read, and had lots of interesting characters. Lots of action (fighting and otherwise) too! :) "
— Jayme, 4/12/2011" It was an easy read but once again, not quite to my taste. The narrator was not interesting enough to distract me from the fact that everything worked out a little bit too easily for the "good guys". "
— Luci, 4/8/2011" Good silly brain candy. I do think the author never met a mythological character that she didn't want to work into the series. "
— Rosary, 3/21/2011" Good Book but not appropriate for some people "
