"Another 5 star, amazing, couldn't put it down (well hardly), gorgeous story from Toni Blake. This one made me laugh and cry, but mostly just filled me with anticipation because I knew Amy and Logan belonged together, I just didn't quite know how they would work it out for themselves. I love a friends to lovers story and this one would have to be on my favorites list for sure. Happy book sigh. :)"

" I was really up and down with this one. I started off loving it and stayed up late to read more. But then, in my opinion, Logan just kept acting like a thoughtless jerk and Amy forgave him too easily. Then I got sick of the constant back and forth of their relationship from Logan. He wasn't that interested in Amy. When he finally got himself together I still didn't get much from it. I would've like more emotion from Logan's side and to have been able to like him. "
— Haley, 2/5/2014" Boring. I had really been looking forward to this book, and then blah. That is how I felt. The romance between the two cats in the book was steamier than between Amy and Logan. I thought Amy should have been paired with Duke. The two scenes they had together seemed full of potential sexual tension. No, we get the world's most boring couple. It was as if once Logan kissed Amy she thought she loved him. The whole thirty years you were friends you never thought about kissing him? Even Harry and Sally didn't wait that long. I also thought the comparisons between Jane Austen's Emma were too much. They go to Logan's lake house for a barbecue (picnic) where Amy (Emma) insults someone out of jealousy and Logan (mr. Knightley) tells her "badly done". I didn't even think what she said was that rude. The girl really seemed like she was asking for it. In fact, I so disliked this girl that I'm not sure I can read her book, which I'm sure is the next one coming up. Good luck Toni Blake making this immature, bi-polar, drama queen into a likable heroine. So, good luck to Amy and Logan and a lifetime of minivans, khaki pants and golf shirts, and zero-lot line homes. Personally, I want to read about Duke but please don't pair him with immature, bi-polar, drama queen. "
— Amy, 1/8/2014" As much as I wanted to love this book, it ended up falling flat for me. I was sooooo looking forward to Amy and Logan's story. I knew there'd be awkward moments, but I didn't anticipate Logan ripping Amy's heart out with his indecision and constant wavering, not to mention taking an open interest in another woman while poor Amy looked on. After reading and loving the rest of the series, this just wasn't the story I wanted for either Amy or Logan. "
— Jen, 12/12/2013" I like Toni Blake as an author and I cannot wait to read more of her works. I'm guessing that there are 4 more before this one in the series. "
— Anna, 12/4/2013" I'm disappointed with this book. As a big Jane Austen fan, I was looking forward to Amy's story. Her character has been portrayed as a JA enthusiast in other books of this series - so, I thought her story would be very enjoyable. As it turns out, I was wrong. I felt the male lead, Logan, was indecisive and not at all endearing. A secondary character, Anna, was like nails on a chalk board to me. She was abrasive and really got on my nerves. I might be more picky than I should be, because I had expected to really like this book. "
— Teresa, 11/27/2013" What a lovely story!!! Thoroughly enjoyed it!! "
— Jessy, 11/24/2013" SLAP........... Logan and Amy are so frustrating "
— Claudine, 11/24/2013" I adore this series! "
— Steph, 11/2/2013" Nice spicy romance. "
— Cheryl, 3/27/2013" I enjoyed this book the most in the series. Now I wonder how long we will have to wait for book 6 and thinking it might be Anna's story... "
— Moira, 3/4/2013" The basic story was good, a little predicable. The heroine was well drawn but I felt that the hero was lacking a little pizazz. "
— Gwen, 12/26/2012" This was a wonderful read. I have totally loved this series and am excited to see another book on the way which I assume will have to be Anna's. Should be good :) "
