Publisher Description

For President Jack Ryan, his son Jack Ryan, Jr., and the covert organization known as The Campus, the fight against America’s enemies is never over. But the danger has just hit home in a way they never expected in this #1 New York Times bestselling Tom Clancy thriller....

The Campus has been discovered. And whoever knows they exist knows they can be destroyed. Meanwhile, President Jack Ryan has been swept back into the Oval Office—and his wisdom and courage are needed more desperately than ever.

Internal political and economic strife has pushed the leadership of China to the edge of disaster. And those who wish to consolidate their power are using the opportunity to strike at long-desired Taiwan, as well as the Americans who have protected the tiny nation.

Now, as two of the world’s superpowers move ever closer to a final confrontation, President Ryan must use the only wild card he has left—The Campus. But with their existence about to be revealed, they might not even have a chance to enter the battle before the world is consumed by war.

"Another great novel by Tom Clancy. An aggressive China using cyber warfare and all of its anti-access / area denial capabilities seeks to gain control of the South China Sea. Jack Jr, associates, the USN and the USMC lead the defense, then counterattack. The weaving of cyber, deception, and AA/AD TTPs make this a very contemporary and relevant read."

" Had me sitting on the edge of my chair the entire book. Awesome fictional story but could be so very true! Clancy again brings real world issues to the forefront and we should all take note! Cyberwarfare is real and China is kicking us. Must read! "

" Full disclosure: I'm a Tom Clancy fan from years ago! Love his character and plot development! He throws in enough military jargon to make his tales believable - but not so much as to make his story a burden. Any of his stories involving Jack Ryan are great, as far as I'm concerned! "

" AAArrrgh comes to mind, the technical detail is ok ,the plots are becoming thinner, there is hardly intrigue or thriller moments , infact it is hardly a page turner. I have read all of Mr Clancys work but please lets have a break with all these other hanger ons . Im going to be hard pushed to buy another one and from such a talented author its a tragic shame i expect so much more than an okay novel "

" Obviously a continuation of the evolution of Jack Ryan Jr. from "desk jockey" at Hendley Associates into the agent his father Jack Ryan Sr. became. It was sad because one of the members of the original team was killed, but the book was exciting and very hard to put down. "

" I enjoyed it. It didn't keep my interest and the intensity up as much as the previous books. But Clancy (and whoever) are still the model for what everyone else is trying to do. The intrigue and geo-political motivations are still top notch and second to none. "

" As usual, Tom Clancy has hit a home run. Reader beware: This is a frightening book. Anyone who travels to China, business or pleasure, knows or suspects what the Chinese government is capable of. Tom Clancy's book takes it to the possible end. "

Book really makes you wonder about future of international relations and internet infrastructure capabilities / cyber security. "
