" I love Lois Lowry but this was different than her typical work. Certainly brought out a fun sense of humor and was a lovely story.

" This is a book about 4 children and their names are Timothy Barnaby, Barnaby (twins), and Jane. Timothy is the boss over his siblings. It is pretty funny.

" I'd give it a 3.5, really. It was enjoyable, but kind of a knowing nod to the Lemony Snicket sort of books, but more intelligent. Her other work is great, and I think she just wanted to get the lead out and do something a little goofier and lighter. Mission accomplished.

" Love Lois Lowry, and this is no dissapointment--great for reinforcing descriptive language, especially if kids are familiar with some of the children's classics.
