When 16-year-old Jack forgets to take his medicine one morning, he soon learns what the medicine is really for. It's a suppressant for his magical powers....He's a Warrior Heir. He soon finds out that his parents were waiting for his wizard to come and begin his training for a tournament to the death before they revealed the truth to him. If Jack wants to make it, he's going to need the help of friends - both magic and normal - and to learn to use his warrior powers and believe in himself.

" Enjoyable--it was easy to guess the plot, but was still a delightful read. I have enjoyed everything I have read thus far from this author. "

" An entertained book, I liked it even when I didn't not enjoyed that much the final resolution. Anyway, it's good enough to recommend it. "

" The idea of wizards and warriors and other clans is new and yet used, but either way, The Warrior Heir is an interesting look on magic and how it could effect the world. It was interesting how non-magical (Anaweir, if you read the book) don't know about the magical guilds, even if they are close relatives of Weir (Wizards, Sorcerers, Enchanters...). This novel breathes new life into the fantasy genre, and does not in any way make it seem as if magic is overused. Because although the book seems similar to say Harry Potter, there are enough differences to make it seem original. "

" Okay, slow in the beginning but once you got to the meat of the novel, it was irresistible to put down. I won't say it was amazing, but I really liked it! "
