"3.5 stars - Good, not great. Intricate world to get your head around in such a short story but looks promising. Feisty, humorous heroines always a plus. Although I found, perhaps because it's a novella, it was more sex less substance/story. Hopefully the rest will have stronger storylines."

" Basically a short story that is a prelude to the Immortals after Dark series. It's very short only about a 100 pages. The publisher should actually tack this story onto the second Immortals after Dark "A Hunger Like No Other," then the whole series would make a lot more sense. "
