Publisher Description

On December 21, 2012, the Mayan calendar will end. Many see it as an apocalyptic sign. But is it? In The Twelfth Insight, the long-awaited fourth book in the beloved Celestine series, we again follow our hero and his close friend Wil. They have just received a portion of another ancient and mysterious manuscript that describes a secret approach to spirituality that is silently arriving in the second decade of the twenty-first century. But the manuscript is only available in fragments. To understand its full meaning for mankind, our hero and Wil begin an urgent search to find the message in its entirety. As they embrace the power of Synchronicity and begin their search, they are confronted by powerful political forces and religious extremists that stand in the way of these spiritual revelations.

"This is the most important book I will read all year; if not ever! WOW. Completely amazing. This is another book that I wish I could just stand on the street corner and hand out copies to everyone who passes by! I have already given it as a gift to a couple of family members and I keep telling everyone about it. This book is a fictionalized adventure that illustrates very real spiritual themes and realities. I love the adventure format because it keeps you engaged and interested in the plot and process, while learning some really important spiritual lessons along the way. I adored this book. I highlighted so many passages as I read; there is a lot of crucial, meaningful material here. There isn't anything I could say that would do this book justice; it is something you have to read and experience for yourself!"

" He gets points for introducing spiritual concepts to folks who might not have encountered them otherwise and for tying into the expectations of "ascension to a higher way of being" generated by the Mayan Calendar. "

" Good to read a book that mirrors my belief that all religions and chosen belief systems ultimately lead to the same God - just different paths. I wasn't blown away or on the edge of my seat but it was a comfortable easy read, reminding us to remain on a path of conscious living. I enjoyed it. "

" Honestly I expected more from Mr. Redfield. I've always been a huge fan of his but this book missed the mark. The language was wordy and confusing and I believe much of the story was lost in translation. "
