Millions have experienced the nine insights of The Celestine Prophecy and glimpsed the emerging world view that it describes. Since its beginning as a word-of-mouth, self-published book, The Celestine Prophecy has sold over five million copies in more than forty countries from Australia to Germany, from America to Japan, becoming a number one New York Times and national bestseller. Inspired by this book, individuals across the world have opened up to the experience of guiding coincidences in their lives, and to a new sense of personal destiny and mission. Now, a new Insight is emerging ... In this exciting sequel, Charlene, the friend who first brought word that an ancient manuscript had been found in Peru, has suddenly disappeared while exploring an old-growth forest deep in the Appalachian Mountains. Here, in this rich setting of cathedral forests, wooded streams, and majestic waterfalls, your adventure in search of the Tenth Insight begins. It is a trip that will take you through portals into other dimensions ... to memories of past experiences and other centuries ... to the moment before our conception and the birth vision we all experience ... to the passage of death and the life review we must all face ... to the self-imposed isolation of hell, where fearful souls resist awakening ... and the love-filled Afterlife dimension where the knowledge of human destiny is guarded and held. And back on Earth, you will see the fear of the future that is endangering Earth's spiritual renaissance, and you will struggle to overcome this fear by exploring the nature of intuition, synchronicity, and visualization. As you grasp the Tenth Insight, your memories will expand to include an understanding of the long expanse of human history and the special mission that we all share to bring humanity to its intended purpose. And you will begin to answer, as never before, the unspoken questions that loom over all of human experience and in every human heart: Why are we here? What are we to do? Where are we going? Again, with words that resonate with our deepest intuitions and illuminate both the world outside us and within us, James Redfield offers us all a unique, revelatory, and ultimately joyful vision of human spirituality. One that could change your life. And perhaps, the world.

"Although this book wasn't as enjoyable as the first for me, I still liked it very much. The Tenth Insight added more complex components to Celestine Prophecy and presented themes that brought on a feeling of melancholy; which is what made it heavier than the first, I think. But, still yet again, extraordinary."

" not nearly as engaging as its predecessor :-( "
— Kim, 2/18/2014" A very disappointing follow-up that lacked depth and story power. "
— Scott, 2/16/2014" I'm a huge fan of the Celestine Prophesy but I kept getting let down by each of Redfield's consecutive books. This one is left wide open for another book which I won't be reading. "
— Amy, 2/12/2014" Ok, I'm really hooked on Redfield's books. This one carries on the same ideas as the first one, but in a different setting. I've already requested the 3rd book from the library and there is a new, 4th book, too. "
— Dale, 2/3/2014" This books is the second in a three book series. The first book takes one to the 9th Insight and alludes to a 10th. This book takes one to the American Eastern mountains and finds the 10th Insight and suggests that there are more. Well written and fast reading but makes you want to know what's next. "
— Pat, 1/22/2014" Again, I know I read it, but not a clue how I'd feel about it now. Recall finding it not as good as Celestine but still interesting. "
— Serena, 1/19/2014" This book had some interesting ideas....like our professional interests are often directed by our parents dreams and dreams lost. It was not as deep-rooted and life changing as the Celestine Prophesy, but still worth a read. And, I have a copy of this book as well. "
— Devika, 1/16/2014" Not as good as the celestine prophecy...this was much more far-fetched and didn't apply to my life as much as its predecessor. Still an enjoyable read. "
— Greta, 1/12/2014" off to a slow start - not as riviting as the first book...Never got much better. It did not hold my attention very well and seemed a little far fetched as the main character moved between the world and the afterlife. "
— Nicole, 1/3/2014" Well done Redfield! Way to combine both fictional suspense with reality and wisdom. "
— Danny, 12/21/2013" Awesome continuation of The Vision from The Celestine Prophecy!! "

— Linda, 8/22/2011" not as good as the first one. not very inspiring at all "
— Savannah, 8/4/2011" It was similar to the first one. More adventure story and less spiritual ideas. I was glad I read it, but again didn't always enjoy the adventure side of the story. Yet, I was ready to read the next one in the series. "
— Shari, 4/12/2011" not as good as the first. "
