"I liked the first book in this trilogy and can't wait to start book two. I thought the sister's marriage to a non-Quaker had a fascinating dynamic to it and thought it was probably somewhat typical of what can happen when someone marries outside of their faith. "

“Suspicion, melodrama, and misdirected passions are the order of the day in best-selling, Christy Award-winning Lewis’ newest Amish romancer.”
— Booklist" A great escape book from the hustle and bustle of this one. "
— Karen, 2/20/2014" I've read several of Beverly Lewis's novels. She writes about the Amish people, so if you have an interest in their faith and lifestyle you will probably like this book. Most of her books follow a similar story, someone struggling with aspects of the faith and lifestyle, a secret from the past, etc. The stories are fairly predictable, but they're a nice easy read when you're looking for something light. "
