Publisher Description

Tim LaHaye, creator of the phenomenally successful Left Behind® books, continues his newest top-ten New York Times bestselling series: Babylon Rising. The heroic Michael Murphy—“cool, brainy, sexy, and valiant”—hurtles into his second whirlwind adventure in pursuit of Biblical artifacts. In Babylon Rising Tim LaHaye began an adventure series that he calls even more exciting than his 50-million-plus-copy bestselling Left Behind series. Readers agreed, as the novel debuted as a top-ten New York Times bestseller.   Now, in the second Babylon Rising novel, Biblical scholar, archaeologist, professor, and hero for our times Michael Murphy is in pursuit of one of the most mysterious and sought-after of all Biblical artifacts, Noah’s Ark. As Murphy undertakes his death-defying quest to ascend Mount Ararat, he will discover dramatic revelations of Biblical prophecies and be drawn even closer to the most terrifying evil about to be unleashed on all mankind. With The Secret on Ararat following close on the heels of Glorious Appearing, the fastest-selling Left Behind novel ever, Tim LaHaye will further prove to be one of the most fascinating and popular storytellers of our time.

"I really liked this book. I can't say as though the writing is the best, but I really liked the story despite. It's definitely an action packed book, that you can easily skim through. And it gives such great facts about Noah's Ark. It also portrays a fascinating look at how God and evil are representative in our lives, and the preparing for the second coming of Christ."

" Book #2 in the Babylon Rising series. This one took Michael Murphy on a quest for Noah's arc.....this story has some Biblical prophecy as well as history written into a fictional account. Great read! "

" book two in the series, following our main character murphey in his quest to find Noahs ark..danger all around him, death and betrayal..hard to believe its christian book:) this one had a little bit of everything, comedy that had me LOL'ing, suspense, romance, etcetc "

" Was an interesting story. Only thing I really didn't like was the weak attempts from the author to mix little sections of "Life lessons" into the read. He is a reverend, so I guess it was a little expected. If he could disguise them a bit better, it would have been tolerable. "

" I cannot say I am truly enjoying this series. Some parts are good reading and other parts are really hokey, just drag the story down, and keep me from really getting into the characters or plot. The series is interesting enough for me to finish the four books I checked out of the library, but I am looking forward to getting them over with and moving onto something else. I Liked this one a tad less than the first book. There's too much hokey in the side stories that add nothing to the main plot, except annoying distraction. This stew would have been better with less non-nutritive filler and more meat. "

" AWFUL! Not only a poor thriller but poor detail... As a Christian,I particularly hate to read of even fictional Christians advancing poor arguments about science. How many times do people need to be told that scientific theories are not proved but only not yet disproved? "
