"I loved this book, a sequel to The Penderwicks. The Penderwick daughters face the fact that their widowed father is starting to date again (not because he wants to but because their aunt is forcing him to because of a request from his late wife). The girls come up with a plot to save their father and themselves from the possibility of having an evil stepmother. Each of the girls has a wonderful personality and they have many different adventures together and a part. Some of the plot is predictable but the characters and the writing more than make up for it."
