About the Author
Author Ken Bruen

Ken Bruen was born in Galway, Ireland, in 1951, where he now lives. After completing a PhD in metaphysics he spent twenty-five years as an English teacher in Africa, Asia, and South America. His many books include The Killing of the Tinkers, The Guards, The Dramatist, Priest, Cross, and The Devil. He was a finalist for the Edgar, Barry, and Macavity Awards, as well as a Shamus Award for The Guards. Bruen received the Best Series Award in 2007 for the Jack Taylor novels from the Crime Writers’ Association.

About the Narrator

Peter Berkrot, a forty-year veteran of stage and screen, was the director of narration for the Emmy-nominated The Truth about Cancer. He has voiced over three hundred audiobook titles, winning six Earphones Awards, a 2012 Audie Award nomination, and a 2016 Audie Award. He has appeared in Showtime’s Brotherhood and Loosies and played Angie D’Annunzio in Caddyshack.
