" Read in the 90's - remember being particularly taken with this book...granted, that was through the lense of a teenager. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Brett Tompkins | 1/30/2014

" Good story. Took an unexpected turn, which I liked. It's funny to find out that he first published this under a woman's name because it wasn't acceptable in the 70s for a man to write something like this. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Serah | 1/21/2014

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Gillian | 1/18/2014

" Classic Koontz. It is developing into a very deep and emotive story. When it involves a child going through such horrors, it needs to be well written to carry on and want to know what happens, and is there a happy, or ok ending. I fear not with this one. What a good strong unpredictable, psychological page rurner this has turned out to be. And the ending, well you will have to give t a go to discover it yourself! "

" This one was a suggested read. Someone really close to me suggested that I read this one and I almost put it down. It was really slow at the beginning(At least for me). But the middle and the end make getting pass the slow part is oh so worth it. "

" I've yet not to like a Dean Koontz book, and this book of course did not disappoint. This book will keep you wondering, questioning, until there finally is no more to question, and like always, all characters find their proper endings, whether they're happy or not, is up to you to decide. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Kasi Lou | 11/7/2012
