In this breathtaking new story from the astonishing imagination of James Patterson, a girl has to save herself from an army assembled just to capture her-and maybe save the planet while she's at it.
Maximum Ride is a perfectly normal teenager who just happens to be able to fly, the result of an out-of-control government experiment. Max and the other members of the Flock-six kids who share her remarkable ability-have been asked to aid a group of environmental scientists studying the causes of global warming. The expedition seems like a perfect combination of adventure, activism-and escaping government forces who watch the Flock like a hawk.
But even in Antarctica, trapped in the harshest weather on our planet, Maximum Ride is an irresistible target in constant danger. For whoever controls her powers could also control the world . . . Maximum Ride is James Patterson's greatest character, a heroine who manages to be human and fearless at once. THE FINAL WARNING is an unrelenting new adventure from the writer Time magazine has called "The Man Who Can't Miss."

"this was not the best in the series, but still definately good. The Final Warning is about the 7 (including Total) trying to save the world from global warming. yeah, well, global warming is alot more serioius than you think people. it can wipe us out, we'd be extinct!!!! yeah- EXTINCT. and there's plenty more surpirises in store for y'all.... including something concerning Total... something interesting. you'll have to read the book to find out... :)"

— Immie, 2/8/2014" Wow. I was really dissappointed after finishing that one. The first three books were completely awesome, but this was just a drawn out environmental statement! What's with that? If the rest of the books are like this, I might not finish reading the series! "

— James, 12/7/2013" This book has disappionted me because the rest of the books were better but thats no reason not to read it.This book was more focused on ecological fallouts and less with action but had a thrilling new twist with the wolve hybrids..... "
— Matthew, 12/6/2013" I am dissapointed. None of the books are as great as I thought. Not bad-books though. And I'm a kinda girl who enjoy not-bad books. If you must read these series, just read it to number 5. Because the story actually ends at 4. "
— andhyne, 12/3/2013" another great adventure. i was glad that this picked right up where the other book left off. i just ordered the last 2 books in this series from the book store. i am anticipating the ending. their is more chemistry in this book between max and fang. "
— Diane, 6/16/2013" Though this novel is short, it is still amazing. There's many twists and turns, curveballs, and very, very surprising developments, as well as time to get know to know the flock even better. "
— Kristine, 6/6/2013" just as good as all of the other james patterson maximum rides. "
— Keona, 5/12/2013" I had HIGH expectations for this book, and what did i get? Just a lovey dovey girl book book about a bunch of random people in the artic. I really liked the first 3 books but i thought this one was just inrelevant. "
— Tom, 4/15/2013" took me a day to read "
— Savannah, 2/25/2013" Not the best book in the series, but there's a big scene with Iggy, so, naturally, I love it! Plus, James Patterson signed my copy, so now it's like my prized possession!!! :D "
— Jules, 1/21/2013" This is where Max goes from wildly out of the ordinary to insanely outlandish. This is built on by the next book. "
— Karl, 11/11/2012" Not my favorite in the series...... "
— Brey, 3/9/2012" This book was Ok, I guess. It wasn't as exciting as the first few and I got a bit confused with the story line, I mean, Why did they go to Antarctica? I know they went because of climate change but it didn't make much sense to me. Other that that it was a reasonably good book. :) "
— Maddy, 1/4/2012" This one was good. I don't recomend it on audio though! lol "
— Kaylyn, 11/13/2011" I \will never get enough of this series and am currently almost done with the next book. So if you look at my situation... I have read both The Final Warning & Max in one day!!! :-) "
— Priya, 9/21/2011" WHAT IS UP WITH THIS BOOK???????????? it totally was a let down and bored me to death! ugh...it was stretched out and pointless! it was a serious down fall 4 me, a total droop! the series has been built up to this point and droop. hope the series picks up! "

— Jamese, 5/11/2011" It was a good story. But I felt it did not meet up with the quality of the other books. "
— Janice, 5/5/2011" Maximum Ride "The Final Warning" is my least favorite book of the Maximum ride books. It has alot less action and Villins than the other books. But dont plan on skiping this book, because it dose explane alot of the Questons being asked. "

— No, 4/30/2011" still no romance with fax or mang whatever you prefer "

— Erika, 4/27/2011" The final Warning is an incredible book, I feel like everythng got more intense and there was just so many thing I remember. Unlike most authors, I can really understand the way he writes, and I can remember a lot of things that happen in his books! "
— Tokio, 4/25/2011" Not as good as the others. I found it preached a bit too much about global warming. It will be interesting to see where book 5 takes the flock. "
— Jess, 4/25/2011" Awesome. I loved the war. Fang's blog was also good in this book! 5 stars all the way! "
— Brianna, 4/23/2011" suddenly the books went from them on the run with wolves after them to them being in Antarctica trying to stop global warming. "
— Claire, 4/23/2011" Series is still cranking along - the suspense is building though the emphasis on global warming got really old. A nice mix of world saving, teen angst, and the addition of a new super villain. The series is a guilty pleasure that has sucked me in. "
