"OMG. This was one of the best books I've ever read. I still remember it - 14 years later! It is amazing how the stories are wound together and the ending is - it just is. I don't remember all the details of the book - its been so long. But any book that I can remember the name and enjoying it and the ending so many years later, gets 5 stars from me!"

" Awesome suspense thriller which has the opening chapter of a hand surgeon in Paris for a medical conference, looks up from his morning cafe au lait to come face to face with his father's murderer. Its a whirlwind tour-de-force from there, with many twists and intriging subplots that all come together seamlessly by the story's conclusion. "

" I have to admit I read this right after Erik Larson's great non-fiction account of Hitler's rise to power, so this was a great escapist story about Hitler's resurgence in late 1900s social political climate. I really enjoyed it. It's a fun read. "
