Publisher Description

Will is the last-born of the Old Ones, immortals dedicated to saving the world from the forces of evil. And now it is Will's task to wake--with the golden harp--the six who must be roused from their long slumber in the Welsh hills to prepare for the last battle between the Dark and the Light.

"I was secretly getting a little tired of Will Staunton and his know-it-all I've-read-the-Book-of-Gramarye-and-you-haven't ways until Bran totally pwns him in this book. Also, Wales sounds neat, and now I want to go there and be a sheep farmer. Best and most unexpected ending to a Dark Is Rising book yet! Onto the next and last one!"

" I liked this book better than the others in the series, but the book has the same problems as all the others 1) Will just always knows exactly what to do, and how to do it 2) The conflicts with the dark aren't very exciting when you know what the outcome will be since Will can't die and the signs can't be taken by the Dark once the Light has acquired them.
