"Absolutely wonderful read. Kristen Heitzmann has you drawn in from page #1. A true page turner and I'd happily read ANY book of Kristen's. I only spent 2 days really reading it. The first day I read about 1/4 of the book and last night I finished the rest. I just didn't want to put it down even though it was 6am when I finished."

“A many-layered tale...Heitzmann keeps readers entertained and wondering when the next bit of drama will occur.”
— Publishers Weekly“A multilayered tale of suspense.”
— Library Journal“Takes the very familiar ‘marriage of convenience’ storyline and ratchets up the suspense and believability. An intriguing mystery and some eerie settings come together to create a fast-paced thriller sure to keep readers breathlessly turning pages.”
— RT Book Reviews (4½ stars)“Romantic suspense with captivating characters and a plot that keeps readers in its clutches until the last page.”
— Seattle Post-Intelligencer" I liked it, but since it's a bit more mature, I can't recommend it for younger readers. The plot line is at times a bit unrealistic, but the ending is happy. "
— Kandra, 2/13/2014" good story, the dialogue was a little cheesy "
— Maile, 1/24/2014" I tried to finish this book but just could not. I made it to chapter 13, and since I was going to the library anyway to pick up another book, decided to just give up. I found that I just did not really care about the characters and there was really no suspense. Also, it is part of a series, which I did not know, and there were regular references to the previous books. I did manage to get past that but still was not interested enough to finish. I almost never do that. "
— Beth, 12/17/2013" Breath of Dawn is a continuation of an older two-book series. Definitely worth the wait. Great read. "
— Julie, 12/5/2013" Great story, great buildup, weak ending - it just wrapped up too quickly and didn't give enough detail on how we got there. "
— Lisa, 9/12/2013" Super read. Loved every minute. "
— Robin, 9/1/2013" Most excellent! But you have to read the previous two books prior to this one! A little romance, a little religion, a little suspense and few tears shed. What more could you want in a book :) "
— Laurie, 8/5/2013" Excellent! I love her writing! "
