"This book has a little bit of everything--adventure, suspense, romance, action. It is a nice "escapist" novel with a Christian viewpoint. An enjoyable change from all the "serious literature" I've been reading lately. A cut above much so-called Christian fiction." "

— Christian Book Previews“Lacks nothing in the way of large-scale action, intense plot twists, and a healthy dose of romance. Throughout this spellbinding novel, the same myriad questions that plague Jade keep the reader turning pages…As each question is answered, another takes its place, leaving the reader hanging to the last page.”
— TitleTrakk.com“Heitzmann deftly gives Freefall’s story and characters credibility through her capacity for incorporating spiritual issues without being preachy.”
— Christian Music Planet“The storyline sweeps you in…and you become involved not only in the plot but the rich culture of Hawaii.”

— Anne, 1/4/2014" This is a good Inspirational novel for those who want to break into the genre. "Jade" has lost her memory after an accident while on vacation and it is up to Nica and her brother Kai to figure out what happened. Kai thinks that the memory loss is some kind of scam until Jade remembers that she wasn't on vacations alone, and leads Kai to her injured companion just in time to save his life. The danger isn't over, and as Jade regains her memory the clues suggest that her accident was anything but. Jade is still in danger and gaining her memory only makes matters more complicated as her involvement in a scandal comes to light. The story is uplifting without sugarcoating human nature or ignoring the ugly points of life. "
