" A great thriller with lots of twists and turns. The discussions about morality and human nature were very interesting and thought-provoking. As usual, not everything gets tied up neatly at the end and the stage is set for the next book and the next killer or killers. "

" Not for the squeamish! Another action packed, adrenaline paced book. The undercurrent here is free will or illusion? These books are not just entertaining and well written, but they make you think and question. "

" A very solid series written by a fantastic author who bangs out another winner. In The Bishop we see some old friends coming together again, well maybe not quite friends. Perhaps adversaries would be a better word. James did start to play the name game towards the end. This is what I call it when the author attempts to mask the real killer/killers by throwing a smoke screen of names plucked from all areas of the book. This seems to tangle the end a bit, at least for me it did. The ending gets so tense that I actually felt myself sitting forward as the suspense builds. The name game caught me like a carpet tack snagging on your sock. A name from the past portion of the book popped up and slowed the action, just for a fraction of course. Overall though this whole series has been fantastic and if you haven't started this one I will advise you that you had better get going now. "
