There's a serial killer on the loose, working his way through the alphabet and the whole country is in a state of panic.

A is for Mrs. Ascher in Andover, B is for Betty Barnard in Bexhill, C is for Sir Carmichael Clarkein Churston. With each murder, the killer is getting more confident - but leaving a trail of deliberate clues to taunt the proud Hercule Poirot might just prove to be the first, and fatal, mistake.

" Really enjoyed this one... What I learned?? that I'm not as smart as Hercule Poirot - or Agatha Christie! Really got me thinking about how people write/construct a mystery. "

" It has been a long time since I have read any Christie, and this is my first encounter with Hercule Poirot. Somewhat odd, since the first section makes several suggestions that this is a later Poirot adventure. Nothing thrilling, but a fun and quick read. I would guess that there is better Christie and better Poirot out there though. "
