"Another brain twister from Christie. I had just read Murder on the Orient Express and on the back cover it says, "Have you read "Curtain"? It was my last case. And I took it to mean that it was his prior case and now it turns out he dies! That blows! Well, I am sure I have a ton more Poirot books to read before I finish them all. I thought the "curtain" thing meant it was all an act, especially when he said he came back from Egypt "better" than when he left, I thought it was all staged for the killer's benefit. Wrong!"

" Whether new to the genre or a Christie fan, you will enjoy this collection. There is something symbolic in the Classical stories that resonate through the centuries. There is something in Christie's stories that is undeniably rooted in human nature. Paired, you end up with a journey that takes you through several countries, and are presented with many different kinds of riddles. Poirot undertakes to do his own 12 labors. Thoroughly enjoyable. "

Hercule Poirot's last case gets to the root of what differentiates an Agatha Christie mystery from so many other writers' -- the source of the solution is always the motive. Poirot questions what drives people to commit murder and finds some rather troubling answers. Highly recommended. "

Hugh Fraser, an Earphones Award–winning narrator, is an English actor and theater director who is best known for his portrayal of Captain Hastings in the television series Agatha Christie’s Poirot. He studied acting at Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art and is an associate tutor, director, and member of the audition panel at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, specializing in Shakespeare.
