“Delightful.”
—Nora Roberts
A perennial New York Times bestselling author, whose books have reached as high as #1, Julia Quinn returns with Ten Things I Love About You, another clever, witty, and delightful historical romance. Author Jill Barnett calls the incomparable Quinn, “Truly our contemporary Jane Austen,” Time magazine says her books are, “Smart, funny”—and this absolutely delicious tale of a beautiful country girl equally desired by an aging lecherous lord and his handsome rogue of a nephew is further proof that, “1. [Quinn’s] characters are engaging, fun, and witty. 2. [Her] dialogue is engaging, fun and witty” (Orlando Sentinel).

"I didn't realize when I read What Happens in London that is was part of a "series," but I love that it is (although I still haven't read the first one). One of the main characters in this novel was a secondary character in the previous, and the main characters in the previous were minor characters in this one! Therefore, this is not a typical series that follows the same few main characters through each novel, but rather allows one to hear Everyone's story within the same setting and character pool, which is really interesting. I enjoy Quinn's use of well-placed humor and just the right amount of corny romance that's sweet but not overbearing in the least. I find myself reading faster and faster the farther I get into the novel, as well! So then, I can't wait to go on to more of her works!" — Chelsea (5 out of 5 stars)

“Charming, slightly bawdy, and perfectly delivered from start to finish.”
“Wit, whimsy, poignancy and passion, Quinn’s trademarks, are all here in spades. Her ability to sweep readers into a nonstop love story is what makes her appeal strong. It’s another delightfully uplifting romance from a master.”
" I usually enjoy Julia Quinn's books as a guilty pleasure, because she tends to be quite snarky and cleverly funny, and I always feel that she's making fun of her books while she's writing them (making me feel less guilty about reading brain candy). That element was lacking in this particular book; just a run-of-the-mill romance here... "
" It was a good, light-hearted romance. Definitely good junk food reading for a lazy weekend. "
" This continues my appreciation of romance novels in which the characters are not only hot for each other, but also genuinely like and enjoy each other on several levels. I don't have a ton to say about this one, but it was funny and adorable and I really liked it. "
" Wanted something light and romantic to read for the holiday season...had some funny moments, some cheesy moments...it was a nice little sugar rush "
" It took a while to get interested in this book, but after the first 30-40% of it, I couldn't put it down! I loved the humorous writing style and the uplifting characters. It was a fun book to read. "
" Fun and perfectly written but... couldn't feel the chemistry :-( "
" I loved everything about this book. I will read it again, and again, and possibly again. "
" Not my favorite Quinn book but still a good one! Love how Sebastian and Annabel found true love :) "
" Typically great stuff from JQ. "
" I enjoyed this book. There were only a few things like too much internal dialogue that got a little tedious. Also the Uncle not getting his due for his bad behavior toward the heroine. But overall I really liked it and was left with a light, happy feeling at the end. "
" I enjoyed it, but not as much as the previous one. "
" My favorite of the Bevelstokes. Sebastian is so charming and witty and an all- around gentleman. <3 "
" This was a sweet romance. I laughed out loud several times thoughout it. I enjoyed it. "
" This book was DELIGHTFUL, in the way that only Julia Quinn can make romance delightful. "
" LOVED Seb & Annabelle! Review tomorrow :) "
" I found this quite delicious and satisfying! "
" Annabel's alcoholic grandma was a riot! "
" This was stupidly adorable - definitely my favourite Julia Quinn so far. Great characters, and once again does a great job with a story set in that time period but with an anachronistic tone which does make it both more entertaining and a whole lot more palatable. "
" What can I say, Quinn's books tend to be happy, feelgood books - witty dialogue, non-perfect but likeable heroes and heroines, quick pace, happy end. Vaguely popcornish, but sometimes popcorn is what hits the spot. "
" Amusing and full of likable characters. "
" I liked it. I really liked the heroine. She was a bit stronger than her normal women and kind of quirky. Fun read. "
" I really loved this book, it was funny, and you were always rooting for the couple to end up together. Great book, Excelent writing style, Intregueing events....I loved it. "
" I loved this book! I like the cleverness of the story and I'd love to know if Julia Quinn had this planned all along or if it just fell into place. "
" Sebastian............... I can't help falling in love with this character. A good thing that The book use a LOT of Sebastian's PoV. Clever indeed. "
" Sebastian Gray and Annabel and their lists "
" Great light reading - I finished it in a day. "
" And this is why I keep buying Julia Quinn's books! Ten Things I Love About You is a great historical romance. Though I have to admit I'm a bit disappointed about Miss Butterworth and the Mad Baron being a fictional book. "
" This was my first book from this author and I liked it. Didn't love it, though. It was a good historical, but I wanted something more from the main characters. More passion, love etc. Perhaps I should try some of her other works... We'll see =) "
