"Sure, I saw the twist coming. And yes, maybe I'm swayed by the fact that I went to a release for this book. Regardless, though, while it doesn't match up with his better works, Tell-All far outshines his other more recent novels -- Pygmy, Snuff and Haunted all fall in comparison. I enjoyed the story, and you will, too."

" Well, I've never read any of his other books and heard so many great things about them, so I was a little disappointed in this particular book. It took me till at least page 55 to start enjoying it. He has a strange style, something you have to get used to. I will try to read several pages of the next book before I purchase it. "
— Barbara, 2/6/2014" The ONLY Palahniuk book that I have completely disliked. It seemed like the inside of someones brain who only cared about pop culture. Not being a pop culture connoisseur, this books seemed like a big inside joke that I just didnt get. I couldnt even finish it. "
— Bo, 1/30/2014" The overall story of this book is actually quite good, I just really didn't like the way that it was written and personally found it really difficult to get through. I might still try reading another book by Chuck Palahniuk though... "
— Jennifer, 12/29/2013" I wasn't a fan of this book. I was able to guess the ending very easily. It's a quick read and almost typical, but I would advise reading it during a long flight or when the T.V. is proving its real worth. "
— Dan, 12/18/2013" I saw Chuck Palahniuk at the Chicago library this summer. Very intriguing individual. I wasn't interested in this one until I heard him talk about it. The story was OK, but I'd put it toward the bottom if I was ranking his books from my favorite to least favorite. "
— Bobby, 12/14/2013" Surprise ending. A bit confusing to read, I'd give it a 3.5 stars if I could. Still, it wasn't a bad book. Not the best I've read. "
— Lamia, 12/11/2013" Original voice, fun & funny writing. "
— Jill, 12/3/2013" I would have rated this higher if he ever wrote a twist I didn't see coming. Did still enjoy it, but it didn't surprise me. "
— Ichaerus, 11/27/2013" This book was alright, but it kind of made me think that Palahniuk is slipping up a little bit recently. Definitely not as good as some of his older books. "
— Manda, 11/25/2013" A resounding "meh" for this one. "
— Sierra, 11/20/2013" Written in a Hollywood-esque format, it's somewhat funny in a celebrity name-dropping kind of way. But after awhile the formula gets tired and boring. Palahniuk is too full of himself in this novel- too vanity driven for my taste. "
— Ashleigh, 8/29/2013" I think Palahniuk is losing me...I felt like this was more of a way to list celebrities both well-known and obscure from Hollywood's heyday than a great story. But, there were entertaining moments with that twist at the end you've come to expect from Palahniuk. "
— Kiah, 8/23/2013" My least favorite of the Palahniuk books I have read -- though Pygmy may be equally unfavorable. And I usually really like his books. This one read really fast though. "
— Phyllis, 4/8/2013" As tedious it is to have to go through all that name-dropping the book is riddled with, it is a delight, almost delicious, to be hit squarely at the jaw by Palahniuk's surprise uppercut yet again. Why he writes such stories, one can only ask or pity him for. But they make such fine entertainment. "
— Monroe, 3/17/2013" While I enjoyed reading "Tell-All" because Chuck wrote it, I had figured out the ending long before I got to it. So in that sense I was disappointed. But the story itself was interesting and I liked the style. "
— Mary, 3/6/2013" Defiantly different than any book I have read before. Second book I have read of Chucks and probably not the last. Got a bit slow and repetitive in the middle, found it hard to keep reading and had to skip a chapter or two. "
— Melissa, 2/12/2013" Palahniuk takes some risks, and sometimes they pay off. In this case, the risk did not pay off. What started off as mildly amusing quickly became tedious and the plot just didn't intrigue. "
— Suzanne, 10/19/2012" Amazing new Palahniuk book with Chucks old fashion. Revert back to Haunted and Choke for a comparison. Plot takes you on a winding journey of an aging actress and her close friend. The plot thickens and turns keeping you reading. "
— Darrell, 11/7/2011" Palahniuk gets me every time. I like his work- I don't love it- yet somehow I'm compelled to keep reading. "
— Jaime, 8/22/2011" An interesting look at 'celebrity'. Typically Palahniuj - odd, unusually, slightly shocking! A bit predictable towards the end, but a good one none the less. "
— Gemski, 7/11/2011" I'm not sure how this would stand up as a read, but it was sort of the perfect audiobook for a long drive. The constant, droning litany of Golden Age name-dropping was easy to zone out to and just enjoy as syllabic background noise. "
— Mark, 6/17/2011" Really not very good at all. I love Chuck and I think this is the worst one of his books I've ever read. "
— Gregory, 6/16/2011" Good effort from Chuck P, better than Rant, and better than Pygmy, although not as good as his early stuff. "
— Boozy, 6/15/2011" See the review I wrote for Snuff like 3 years ago. Why do I keep reading Chuck do you ask? Oh cause they're free and take like 2 hours. "
— Tami, 6/14/2011" I wasn't a fan of this book. I was able to guess the ending very easily. It's a quick read and almost typical, but I would advise reading it during a long flight or when the T.V. is proving its real worth. "
— Dan, 6/11/2011" I love most of Palahniuk's books, so had to read this one too. Not his best, and sometimes hard to stay focused on because of a lot of trite details. It had a very surprising ending and once I got 3/4 of the way through the story I couldn't stop reading! "
— Erica, 6/2/2011" I like Chuck...never know what to expect! I hope I like it.

I've gotten through some of it, and I don't think this one's for me. Sorry Chuck "
— Sarahz, 5/25/2011" My least favorite of the Palahniuk books I have read -- though Pygmy may be equally unfavorable. And I usually really like his books. This one read really fast though. "
— Phyllis, 5/12/2011" Really, really not his best work. If I'm into a book, I will read it quickly - or at least read multiple chapters at a time. This one I would not feel like reading after 1 chapter. It was also pretty easy to guess the ending. "
